need to replace a roller blind in a downstairs flat bedroom. you would need to supply and fit the blind looking for a simple replacement something from B&Q for example. currently the b.ind does not stay up looks like the mechanism has failed ands is being held up by the window handle see image - just need a new one fitted.

I’m looking for someone experienced who can drill into an RSJ lintel above my French doors and front door, then fit a small piece of wood securely in place so I can attach curtain poles later. I’ve tried myself but my drill won’t go through the lintel, so I’ll need someone with the right tools and know-how to get it done properly. I’ll provide the materials — just need the labour. There’s also a possible second job available: boxing in around my fireplace. If you’re able to take a look while you’re here, that would be great. I’m based in Swadlincote and can pay cash.
