Hi, I’ve got a garden door that opens into my kitchen, and the problem is everyone keeps bringing in mud from outside. I’ve tried putting a mat under the door, but every single one gets caught or dragged when I open or close it. I just need someone to adjust or trim the door slightly so there’s enough space for a rug or mat underneath. That way I can keep the floor clean without the mat getting stuck. Should be a small job for someone who knows what they’re doing. Thanks!

I need a handyman/plumber to fix 3 loose sink taps and a shower door in a rental property: - Kitchen tap (metal sink) – loose/wobbly. - Kitchenette tap in Room 5 (laminate worktop) – loose/wobbly. - Bathroom tap in Room 5 (porcelain sink) – loose/wobbly. - Shower door in Room 5 (corner shower, curved sliding door) – door has come off the track as the rollers aren’t aligned. Needs realigning onto the track, or advise if replacement/repair parts are required. The taps likely just need tightening/re-securing underneath. It may be the case that a fixing plate/bracket may be needed if the worktop wood has softened. Please bring appropriate tools (e.g. basin wrench) and any standard fixing kits/plates in case required.

I'm looking for someone experienced with IKEA Pax wardrobes to complete a repair and install job. WARDROBE DOOR The wardrobe door hinge has pulled out and needs to be reattached. The mounting point may be damaged, so this will likely need a proper fix to make it secure, not just screwing it back in. Using wood filler, dowels, or another method to reinforce the area is fine and encouraged. A new pack of hinges will be provided in case required, whereas any dowel and filler are not provided. DRAWERS REPLACEMENT In addition, two drawers are damaged and need replacing. The rails to these drawers (and an additional mesh basket) have also failed, so will need remounting. We have ordered replacement drawers, which includes rails and screws. And also ordered replacement rails for the mesh basket. Delivery is due on the 10th August. I expect some old mounting holes inside the wardrobe may be stripped, so you may need to reinforce with dowel/filler as with the wardrobe door. All replacement parts will be delivered to the tenant ahead of time. You should also remove and dispose of any broken parts (please do not use the residential bin) Please bring your own tools and any filler, plugs, or reinforcement materials you may need. Access will be provided by the tenant. I'm managing this remotely and won’t be on-site. Photos of the damage have been supplied by the tenant.
