Approximate room sizes: - Bedroom 1: 4m × 4m - Bedroom 2: 4m × 3m Carpets will be supplied by me. I only require fitting and installation. Please let me know whether you can also supply and fit suitable underlay, and include the additional cost in your quote. I’m looking for an experienced laminate-floor fitter to remove the existing carpet and continue my current flooring into one bedroom. The same flooring has already been fitted in other rooms following an insurance claim, so the aim is for this bedroom to match and flow into the existing floor. I have already purchased the laminate from Renovate Direct and included photos of both the room and product. It is an interlocking/click laminate system with the underlay already attached to the boards, so please make sure you are comfortable fitting this type of flooring. I will empty the wardrobes and move as much as possible beforehand, and can assist with moving the bed or any lighter furniture if needed. The carpet, underlay and waste can be left here for us to dispose of. Ideally, I would like the laminate fitted neatly underneath the skirting boards rather than simply butted up against them with beading. This may mean carefully lifting and refitting, or slightly raising, the skirting where necessary. Please quote for the fitting work and let me know whether you can come and measure up first if required. I am available any time, and was thinking this should be able to be completed in one day.
