I’m looking for a qualified/registered electrician who can also carry out the associated installation work. The jobs are: • Install a new electrical socket/connection on the wall above the hob to accommodate an extractor fan, and then install and connect the extractor fan. • Install a new electrical socket/connection high up on the living-room wall to accommodate a wall-mounted TV. • Install the TV bracket securely onto the living-room wall and mount the TV onto the bracket. The wall is mortar/brick, so the appropriate heavy-duty drill, masonry bits and fixings will be required. Please only apply if you have the suitable equipment and experience for securely mounting a TV onto this type of wall. • Install a 350cm IKEA VIDGA curtain track inside a high-up curtain pelmet. The pelmet is approx. 340cm wide and 312cm high. I have purchased 3 x IKEA VIDGA single track sets. The tracks will need to be measured, cut to the required length, joined together and securely installed inside the pelmet. Once installed, the curtain also needs to be put onto the track. The high-up work will require a suitable tall ladder/platform and appropriate equipment. Please only apply if you are suitably qualified and experienced to carry out the electrical work, including testing/certification as required. Please bring the appropriate tools, equipment, drill/masonry bits and fixings required for the work. Please quote for labour and let me know separately if any additional materials are required. The units has power and turns on but the cooling doesn’t seem to fully kick in and then it reverts back to warm/room temperature air…

I purchased this air conditioner window unit around 3 weeks ago. The first 2.5 weeks with the unit was great, with the room cooling down significantly. Now, the unit seems to not be performing nearly as well as in the beginning. Cold air comes out, but the room itself is still quite warm. I have unplugged and replugged the unit and have cleaned the filters so I’m not sure what the issue is.
