I am looking to have a media cabinet built - something similar to the attached. It will need to be slanted from one side given the slope in the wall (this area can either be shelving or drawers). The total width of the area is 385cm and the height is 226 cm. I would also like some lighting, and a TV/soundbar to be properly fitted/all wiring for sky box hidden away neatly.

Hi, I have a few small carpentry/joinery jobs The work includes: * Install window sills in the hallway and kitchen * Trim and install kickboards underneath the kitchen units — we had new flooring installed after the kitchen, so the existing kickboards no longer fit underneath * Install door trims on one side and skirting in the upper hallway (very small area). * Box out the extractor fan

Our dishwasher was previously fixed to an exterior wooden cupboard door by screws which have now come loose. The dishwasher is spring loaded so without the front door it just slams shut so it is not properly usable at the moment and is ugly and exposed. We are unsure how to fix it back as it looks like the hole is unusable now and there are no other spaces for us to put more screws.

I am looking for a tradesperson who can complete a high standard sash window refurbishment in preparation for painting (eg sanding/filling/priming). I do not need a painter. The trial window will be the bathroom window which is a single sash window. I have other windows if quality is good.

Hi, I’m in Addlestone and looking for a carpenter who might be able to help on july 7th (in between schedules plasterboardind and painting. It’s for a 4m x 4m bedroom. The walls are being plasterboarded, so I’ll need new skirting fitted afterwards before the walls are paunted. I also need an interior bedroom door replaced, and the back corner of a IKEA PAX unit cut down so it can sit partly around the chimney breast and a small plinth cut for it from timber (skirting to go around it also - have made a technical drawing) Building materials supplied and will be onsite ready.

I have a custom built in wardrobe that we DIY’d. For the drawers I used IKEA PAX drawers that we altered to fit our dimensions but they’re not strong enough and have broken. I want someone to build me new ones that are more solid and will sit on fresh tracks to stop the jamming and splitting I’ve experienced. Some urgency as I currently don’t have functioning drawers. I value quality and experience - please don’t send me a generic message if your experience is only flat pack furniture etc.

I have a good wooden swing seat, with a cover over it, i am disabled and cannot handel the cover. I was wondering if a wooden frame could be built over the swing seat, covered with twinwall, so that i can just go out and use the swing seat.
