Bosch SMV40C00GB/50 (Type SL6P1B) – Integrated Dishwasher We’re experiencing inconsistent wash performance that suggests reduced circulation pressure, particularly affecting the upper rack. Detergent tablets are sometimes released but not fully dissolving, and cleaning results have been variable. The issue developed gradually over several weeks. Work already completed: • Removed and thoroughly cleaned upper and lower spray arms (multiple blocked holes cleared). • Removed debris from sump (small bead and bone fragment). • Cleaned filter assembly. • Checked drain pump impeller – rotates freely. • Checked sink trap for obvious blockage. • Confirmed salt reservoir cap secure. After cleaning, an empty Eco cycle completed fully: • No standing water at end (only normal sump water). • Interior warm (heater functioning). • Drain pump audible during drain phase. However, prior cycles did result in standing water at the base, and performance remains inconsistent. Occasionally the machine will not start or change program unless powered off at the wall and restarted. No visible error codes. Looking for an experienced appliance engineer (preferably familiar with Bosch integrated models) to assess: • Circulation pump pressure / potential weakening pump • Drain pump condition • Non-return valve • Partial internal blockage • Early signs of component wear This is for proper diagnosis rather than basic cleaning.
