It is already connected and live. What’s needed: Relocate the power point to the left side of the new door opening, lower down on the wall (see red mark in photo). Cable may be slightly short, so a compliant extension/junction box will likely be required. Ensure safe, neat installation to Australian standards. Timing: This needs to be done tomorrow (before 3pm) before the builder returns to install the architrave/door frame.
