I am looking for an experienced plasterer to install new plaster around an inbuilt fireplace and repair areas of existing plaster that have been water damaged. Scope of Work 1. New plaster installation around inbuilt fireplace • Supply and install plasterboard around an existing inbuilt fireplace • Set and finish joins to a smooth, paint ready standard • Ensure clearances and finish are appropriate for a fireplace installation • Match surrounding wall finish as closely as possible 2. Repair water damaged plaster • Cut out and replace damaged plaster sections • Patch, set, and sand to a smooth, paint ready finish • Match existing wall or ceiling texture where possible Important Notes • The cause of the water damage has already been resolved • Fireplace is already installed and operational • Internal work only • Painting is not required unless discussed separately Skills and Experience Required • Qualified or highly experienced plasterer • Experience with both new plaster installs and repair work • Experience working around fireplaces preferred • Ability to assess the job and advise if any additional preparation is required Materials and Tools • Please include plasterboard, compounds, and standard consumables • Advise if anything additional may be required Timing • Flexible, ideally within the next four weeks • Please include your availability in your offer
