I have timber floorboards with several surface scratches. I’m not looking to replace the boards, but would like to know if the scratches can be made less visible through coating, polishing, or patching up. I’m hoping for a repair or touch-up solution rather than a full replacement. Photos of the affected area are attached. Please let me know if this is possible and provide a quotation if available.

Looking for an experienced person to sand and re-lacquer an internal timber staircase. The staircase is relatively new and structurally sound. There are a couple of minor cracks/gaps that need filling only (cosmetic, no repairs required). Scope includes light sanding, surface preparation, minor gap filling, and application of a clear or existing-colour lacquer to refresh and protect the timber finish. Job is indoors with easy access. We are looking for someone experienced in timber floor restoration to: • Assess the floor condition • Advise whether a buff and recoat or professional touch-up / blending is suitable • Carry out the work to improve the appearance (not a full sand unless advised) The floor is in good overall condition — this is mainly a cosmetic issue in visible areas. Currently renovating a house in Heidelberg West and looking someone to freshen up existing floors. Doesn’t need to be “showroom perfect” — just clean, even, and improved. Refinishing of timber floors (downstairs) in a Reservoir townhouse. Approx 40m2. Refer floorplan I've highlighted in blue the extent. There are some gaps between boards that need to be filled in a few areas. Sand and refinish floors to new condition. Use hardy sealer / polyurethane coat. House has been recently painted and new carpets etc so dust suppression must be used.

Have 3 patches of discolouration on my timber floor due to bleach. Looking to get back to original as much as possible without replacing floorboards

If you need to inspect, it can be arranged after 22nd September. The floor space is roughly 160sqm (floor plan attached). Currently, part of the house is carpeted and the rest is old timber flooring. Advice on material selection will be greatly appreciated.

Hi there. We are looking at a quote that will include removal of carpet and remove of partial laminate floating floor, as well as a small section of tiles. And install Tasmanian Oak timber flooring that will be supplied (we may need additional however). It will be just for the hallway and living / kitchen area for a small cottage. Specs to follow.
