I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/deck builder to replace my existing concrete entry ramp with a raised timber deck and stairs. I attached an Ai picture of what sort Of want it to look like as well. Measurements are roughly 380 L 110 W near the door 185 W outside Scope of works: * Remove or build over the existing concrete ramp (open to recommendations). * Construct a timber deck from the front door extending to the footpath. * Extend the deck to cover the existing gravel garden beds on both sides, creating one continuous front entrance deck. * Install approximately 3 wide steps leading from the footpath up to the deck. * Install warm white recessed LED step lights (and/or deck lights) wired into the existing lighting or a suitable power source. * Finish with clean edging and a high-quality, modern appearance. * Happy to discuss timber options such as Merbau, Spotted Gum or composite decking. What I’m after: * A modern, premium-looking entrance similar to the attached concept image. * Open to suggestions on the best design and construction method. * Please provide a quote including labour and materials (or labour only if preferred). * Licensed and insured tradespeople preferred. I’ve attached photos of the current entrance as well as a concept image showing the style I’m aiming for.

Floors are 4 years old. Some chips and scratches I'd like repaired/concealed where possible. I'd like a coating (probably polyurethane type?) that will better protect the floor and last a good while before needing recoating/refinishing again. Current finish appears to be fairly natural/matte or satin. I'd like to go for satin this time for a slightly better and modern look. Area (in metres) Living: 6 x 4 Laundry area: 1.5 x 1.5 Hallway: 4.9 x 1.1 Entry to bedroom 1 x 1.6 I would do it myself but want someone with experience in floor surfacing suck as this to provide the right guidance and excellent products with a professional finish. After a repair/ blending of marking in timber laminate likely caused by furniture being moved. Mark is approx 15cm in length

The floor was scratched with a bolt when I was moving in. I tried to fill the scratch myself, which is why the area looks darker now. Need someone to fix it.

Can you fix the defect on the bamboo floor

There is a small wonky bit on edge of our timber decking - circled in the photo below. When you step on it, it is bouncy. Looking for a handyman to help me fix this!

I need an experienced handyman, carpenter, or deck restoration specialist to repair a circular burn mark on my timber deck (see photo). The damaged area is approximately 40–50 cm in diameter and appears to be surface burn damage from a fire pit or hot object. I’m looking for someone to assess the damage and restore the area so it blends in with the surrounding deck as closely as possible. Remove some existing boards to match up the lengths, remove some quad along the window wall to fit in boards and match up, install floor boards into and through small room 3m x 1.5m. Underlay and boards provided.

We sanded our floors and now have to sand back the railings in our stairs. We plan on painting them white. We are in Eltham

Hallway carpet needs to be ripped up and timber laid as dogs have ruined it during the colder/wet months. Area is approx 15m2. Timber and tools would need to be provided as nothing at house.

Protective floor pad moved from couch leg and adhesive from this stuck to the ground. When I went to lift couch to move it, it ripped this piece off in one clean chunk. The irony.

Looking for someone experienced with timber floor repairs to fix a few small chips/gouges in our wooden floorboards. Damage includes: -A couple of small holes/chips in the wood -some surface wear/scratches in nearby area I’m not looking for a full sand/polish at this stage — just a tidy cosmetic repair (fill, colour match, and seal if needed) to make the damage less noticeable. I have a timber fence that has been pressure washer cleaned in preparation for oiling/ staining. I need the fence sanded lightly to remove some of the furry timber that is a result of the pressure washing. I have sanding equipment on-site to use if required.
