My ducted heating system works in all rooms except the kitchen. The heater unit is functioning normally — the issue is isolated to the under‑floor duct feeding the kitchen floor vent. I have removed the kitchen floor grille and confirmed the problem: The duct has completely come off the floor boot, and I can see the ground below. This needs to be reconnected and secured properly. Scope of Work: Access the kitchen floor vent (grille already removable) Access under the house Locate the disconnected duct Reconnect the duct securely to the floor boot Seal and secure the joint using clamps + foil duct tape Check for tears, sagging, or damage in the duct run Restore proper airflow to the kitchen vent Provide photos of the completed repair Notes: Under‑floor access is available No gas or electrical work required — ducting only The required fittings to reconnect should be provided. I have an under floor heating vent thats not attached plus one has a crack in it. Also our reverse cycle in roof ducting needs reconnected.

Honeywell home under floor heating controller not working repair/ replace if needed + parts price extra

Installation of Tile Backer Insulation Boards (1200mm x 600mm x 6mm) across a concrete slab. Boards will cover a area of approximately 50m2. These boards need to be screwed using 25mm fibre cement screws into the concrete slab below. A high strength poly-urethan tape will then need to be taped across the joints of the boards. Note Boards, Screws and Tape will be supplied. This quote request is for the installation and waste removal cost only.

I require a handyman to get under the house and remove the heating ducts. Cutting the tape and removing the boots from floor vents and return air box. I am able to help, I have a fear of confined spaces hence the need for help ! Should be around an hour and a halfs work.

The underfloor heating system worked properly last year. Earlier this year, during renovation, the original Honeywell mercury thermostat was replaced with a Siemens electronic thermostat (DMM310/MM). Now, when turning on the heating, the boiler fails to start. Professional assistance is needed to commission the system and start the boiler.

My gas heating has been removed , I want to get the heating vents filled in. They have already been blocked but want them to be flush with current floor. Carpet flooring will be replaced over the top so just needs to be sturdy and flat. There are 6 vents in total.

Hey guys Just wanting someone to come and potentially have a look at our floor heating system and see if they can diagnose why its not working, I think it may be a thermostat issue but im not too sure, as far as I can gather from the previous owners, the heating stopped working when they replaced the slate on the floor, although the system is an "inslab" heating system so I dont believe they have broken a wire as the circuit breaker doesn't trip or anything like that, im unsure how much it will cost to just run a few checks, obviously being in slab it would be a bit hard to check the actual wiring but im unsure how it all works

There are currently ducts under the house for 8 outlets + 1 inlet. All ducts need to be removed. The registers/feet for the 8 outlets are going and the holes in yellow tongue underfloor need to be sealed.

Remove 11x heating ducts and return from under the house, tie off ductwork from vents and dispose of old duct work (clearance height: 40cm. Requires dexterity and tight spaces)

Hello! We are replacing our flooring and heating type and as a result need to cover and secure old floor heating vents. There will be floating floor boards coming on top so the vents area should be secure enough to walk on when floors are done. There are approximately 3vents.
