Roof is currently experiencing water ingress during windy rain due to deteriorated gable ends and barge boards. This task is to complete a professional inspection and provide a quote which will ensure the scope prevents any future leaks in the roof. What I had as previous scope details for reference only if helpful: - Close in two gable ends (east and west) using weather-proof cladding. - Install new flashing at the gable-to-tile junctions, installed under lifted tiles with correct lap (no surface-mounting). - Seal all new cladding joints, edges, fixings and penetrations with exterior-grade polyurethane. - Paint the gable face/barge/fascia after the work – plain white colour. - Re-seal and paint barge boards/fascias. - Chimney: clean and reseal flashing/penetrations, including lifting tiles to inspect the under-tile soakers/back-tray; quote separately if re-flash is required. - Install 2 whirly-birds on the tiled roof to provide ventilation, including proper flashing and seal around base.
