Mixer tap in the kitchen is leaking

Shower Mixer tap has been removed from behind tile by digging out brick wall and cutting away tile. 3x water pipes have been capped. I bought a new mixer tap but the alignment is slightly out. My kitchen mixer tap is leaking slightly from the retractable braided hose underneath the sink. **The Details:** * **The Issue:** The leak is coming from a worn spot on the flexible braided hose under the counter (marked with a red circle in image.png and image_4.png).
