A shower mixer has been plumbed the wrong way where the hot goes to the cold and the cold goes to the hot. Secondly access to the inside of the wall might be best through a wardrobe wall from behind the shower so it would involve possibly cutting through the wall panel to be able to access the plumbing.

Hi, I need someone experienced with progressive mixer taps to check my wall-mounted bathroom basin tap. The issue is that when I turn the mixer towards hot water, the water flow becomes very strong and the temperature gets very hot quickly. It is difficult to control the hot water safely and accurately, and the basin fills up very fast during normal use. I am renting, so I am looking for someone who can check if there is a practical solution without replacing the whole tap/mixer, if possible. Please let me know if you have experience with this type of progressive mixer and if you can help diagnose or adjust the issue.

Our shower in the bathroom is apparently leaking somehow to the kitchen below. Ceiling was wet, we thought it was the roof and got it fixed. Each time we use the shower, it's now dripping through a small hole in the ceiling downstairs.

Fix leaking shower (spindle issue) My shower head is slightly dripping continuously even when turned off. I’ve identified that the issue is likely coming from the tap/spindle (handle area), not the shower head itself. The handle has been removed and the spindle is exposed for reference for photos. Looking for someone experienced to: • Inspect the issue • Replace O-ring and/or cartridge/spindle if required • Stop the leak completely I’m happy to cover the cost of any small parts if needed. Hi there, I’m looking for a handyman or plumber to help fix a leak coming from my shower screen/door. As shown in the photos, water is leaking from the bottom corner of the shower (near the frame/glass join). It appears the current sealant has worn away or is no longer effective. When the shower is running, water leaks out onto the bathroom floor, and we currently have to use a rolled towel to stop it spreading. 🔧 What I need done: • Inspect the shower screen/door area • Remove old or damaged sealant (if required) • Reseal properly with waterproof silicone • Ensure the leak is fully stopped

Toilet blocked, I’ve plunged it and still not unblocked

The toilet seems to be a bit blocked. The water drains slowly, and when I put toilet paper in, it takes a while to go down.

I have a blocked toilet so jet blast is required to unblocked it, ideally someone who also have a camera so we can inspect the sewer line and see what causing the blockage. Many thanks
