I’m looking for a professional to replace my existing gas cooktop, kitchen sink and sink mixer with new ones. I have already purchased all three items and will supply them. The new gas cooktop is the same size as the existing one and should fit into the current cut-out. However, the new sink may be slightly larger, so the existing benchtop cut-out may need to be enlarged to accommodate it. The job will also include installing the new sink mixer and completing all necessary plumbing and gas connections.

Water comes out around the shower entrance/door area during use. The floor slope and existing threshold may be contributing to the issue. The work I’m looking for includes: • Inspect the floor slope, drainage, shower screen alignment and seals to identify where water is escaping. • Supply and install a suitable low raised threshold/hob across the shower entrance, using matching tile, stone or another durable material, if appropriate. • Carefully remove and refit/reposition the existing shower screen and door as needed to accommodate the threshold and ensure proper closing. • Remove failed silicone and replace the necessary seals, including the bottom door seal if required. • Ensure any work preserves the existing waterproofing and properly seals any affected fixing holes. • Water-test the completed repair to confirm water stays inside the shower. I would prefer to reuse the existing glass and hardware where possible, with a neat finish that suits the bathroom. Shower leak – diagnose, reseal/waterproof & repair rotted timber underneath I have a leaking shower that needs to be properly diagnosed and repaired. The house is on stumps and there is easy access underneath the shower. From underneath I can see water dripping around/from the shower waste/pipe area when the shower is being used. There is also visible water damage and some rotting/deteriorated timber underneath the shower (photos attached). I’m looking for someone experienced with leaking showers/bathroom repairs who can: Identify exactly where the water is coming from – e.g. shower waste/pipe connection, waterproofing, grout, silicone/seals or another source. Repair the actual source of the leak rather than just applying silicone as a temporary fix. Reseal/regrout the shower where required and advise if any waterproofing work is needed. Inspect the damaged timber/subfloor underneath the shower. Repair or replace the affected rotted timber where required and make sure the shower/subfloor remains structurally sound. Check the waste/pipework underneath and repair any leaking connection if that is contributing to the problem. Access underneath the house is available and the affected area is directly accessible, which should make inspection easier. I’ve attached photos of the shower and the area underneath showing the water damage. Spare bathroom: Water is visibly seeping/dripping from underneath the mixer back plate while the shower is completely turned off. This is the main concern and is shown in the attached photos. This shower is very rarely used, so the water is not residual from shower use. Ensuite: I have also noticed some moisture around/underneath the mixer back plate. This shower is regularly used, so I’m unsure whether this is residual water or whether the second mixer may also have a leak. I’d like this checked at the same time. I’d like the source of the leak identified and repaired to prevent potential water damage behind the wall. Ideally looking to repair the existing mixer/s where possible rather than replace unnecessarily.
