Hi, I’ve got a small leak on my external hot water system in Pakenham. The leak is coming from a fitting/nut on the pipe just above the tempering valve (see attached photos). I’ve already isolated the water supply, so it’s not urgent or spraying — just needs repair/replacement of the fitting (nut/olive or possibly the connection). I have a minor water leak at my hot water meter. The leak appears to be coming from the compression/union nut directly below the meter (downstream of the isolation valve). A plumber previously applied thread tape, which stopped the leak temporarily, but it has returned. I suspect the olive or fitting needs replacing/reseating. This hot water tap is preventing me from putting a dryer on top of my washing machine. I need it removed and capped off (doesn't need to look a specific way).

Fix hot water unit, pilot flame not staying on. Tried to ignite and pilot.light comes on but not staying on after let go of pilot knob. No sign of moist.

My gas storage hot water system (AquaMax 390SS-NG) has stopped producing hot water. The pilot light will not ignite. What’s happening: • The pilot is out and won’t relight • The red igniter button clicks, but there is no visible spark • Not sure if pilot gas is flowing • The big control dial turns, but pilot position isn’t responding normally • No flame appears at all
