Looking for a plumber to investigate a hot water issue in Unit 3 at Hillside Terrace, Teneriffe. Hot water works normally at the kitchen faucet. Due to older plumbing, hot water has historically not reached the bathroom basin faucets properly, but the showers previously received hot water without issue. The new problem is that neither shower is now getting warm/hot water. A neighbour has experienced a similar issue and can apparently get hot water to their shower by turning on a hot water faucet elsewhere at the same time. We have tried this workaround but it doesn't work in our unit. We need someone to investigate why hot water is no longer reaching the showers, determine whether it's an issue within the unit or the building's plumbing/hot water system, and fix it if possible or find a temporary workaround while Body Corporate resolves any building-level issue. The home’s hot water for shower appears to have an issue. Generally, the hot water is a little weird because of the old piping (so it takes a little time for hot water to reach shower), but my tenant’s insist only luke warm temperatures for the showers. Had a pre-sale building and pest inspection done ahead of auctioning my house. Report found minor leak on our hot water system from one of the valves - assume valve is worn or the seals??. Keen to get it fixed. See first 4 photos We have a second system with no leaks (photos 5 &6), but would be good to pre-empt any similar issue by replacing any seals on this system if it’s an easy job.

we have moved into a Queenslander and the water pressure & temperature (specific to hot water) is not optimal. When hot water is switched on all the way you only get a small flow of water in comparison to the cold water tap. This is an issue across all taps & our shower. When the hot water is running it’s not hot enough to combat the pressure with the cold water, you just end up with a cold shower. Need help to resolve.
