We have a quote need on various scenarios We live in a standard 2 bedroom single story unit on a block of 10. Currently we have Gas Ducted Hearting and one main 8kw Air Con unit in the lounge that needs replacement. The outside box for this is at the back of the house (6m away). Initially we were looking at a change via the Vic Gov rebate scheme but after survey found that our circuit board would not handle their plan without significant investment. What we do know is that for a small amount spent on the circuit board we can have an option where we can have a main unit lounge replacement and also a smaller unit in the bedroom which will work without a totally new board being needed. The quotes or ball park figures we need are for 3 scenarios. Please quote to include units and/or only install units that we would buy ourselves 1. Replacement of main 8kw unit in lounge only 2. As above plus one small unit in one bedroom maybe 2.6kw 3. A small unit only in one bedroom There is 6mm Cable on a 63A switch. Bedroom 1 would be an adjacent right up to outside wall. It is important to say that we are only planning on living in the property for around another 1.5 to 2 years, so we are keen for the most cost effective approach and cheaper units. We need a plumber/tradie to supply and replace the over temp thermistor in our heater because the current one is faulty. We have a Rinnai RHFE-557 FTR energy saver heater (see photo). It works but an error 33 pops up (over heating). We had a plumber come over and test the heater - he found everything to be in working condition but concluded the reason for error is that the over temp thermistor is faulty and needs replacing.
