Blinds cost will be reimbursed separately. Colour preference: Walls are Dulux Natural White, so I’m looking for chalk or linen colour blinds. Something light but not bright white. Open to suggestions if you’ve used other neutral tones that work well in rentals. Timing: Flexible, but ideally completed in the next few weeks. Description: Looking for a capable tradie to handle a mix of repairs and improvements at a rental property in Kelmscott. Jobs include: • Repairs & patching: Fix floorboards in main bedroom (putty needed, sharp edges), patch and paint areas above split system, rear living room, behind toilet, and behind smoke detector (colour is Dulux Natural White). • Painting: Touch up front steps, under one eave (flaking paint), and exterior wall under bedroom window (rust stains). • Blinds: Remove and dispose of old horizontal blinds, paint behind, supply & install new blackout + sheer roller blinds throughout (rear lounge, front lounge, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, laundry). Secure blind cords to wall as per safety standards. • Bathroom & kitchen: Supply & install new chrome showerhead, mixer, towel rods and toilet paper holders. Reseal (silicone) around kitchen sink. • Outdoor work: Pull up and secure front roller shutter (motor broken), remove and dispose of front gates, mow front lawn, secure/replace loose patio sheeting. • Other fixes: Reverse hinge on bathroom vanity cabinet. Remove and dispose of damaged laundry cabinets (wall-mounted and lower unit). Timing: Can start from 3-Nov onward. I’ll be onsite 3-Nov for a walkthrough and to show everything in person. Keys can be provided after that for easy access. Work can be done over multiple days, no rush.The property is older and needs ongoing upkeep, so there may be more work later for the right person. We have removed a rusted pot belly flute from the roof and there is now a hole we need help patching up. right now it has a bit of metal over it but it needs to be better patched up and sealed.
