We have moved into a place that has natural gas, and it has a port outside to plug in a bbq. However it is not working with the BBQ we have. I suspect the valve has deteriorated and is not releasing properly. We need someone to inspect, repair and if necessary replace the outlet.

Too close to newly installed aircon as I was told, so need to move gas connection about 3m alongside outdoor wall. Currently unused and only functions as backup if there’s an issue with the electric HWS. System has a dual cylinder setup which is not needed anymore: one’s enough. Gas pipe goes into house and comes out again where gas HWS is, there’s never and unused pipework also to upstairs BBQ area.
