Our house will be completely empty in October and we are looking to re-sand the entire house. The only room that doesn’t have timber floor is the bathroom. All other rooms is timber. Looking to: 1. Re-sand and polish timber 2.stain floor to desired colour 3. Three coats of water base polyurethane Some areas of the house have tiles laid on top of timber floor, which will be removed by another tradesperson. I have attached a floor plan and here are the measurements Bathroom: 2.6x2.1 Bedroom 1&2: 3.7x4.4 Bedroom3: 3.1x3.8 Hallway: 8.0x1.5 Lounge: 3.6x5.4 Kitchen: 5.4x3.6 (need to deduct the kitchen cupboards - refer to green) Study: 2.5x4.1 Toilet: 1.0x1.6 Laundry: 1.8x3.7 Light floor image is what I am trying to achieve for end result.

Timber Flooring Replacement I need a small section of the existing timber flooring replaced, only a few square metres, not the whole floor. I have spare matching timber flooring in the same colour available for the repair. The job is simply to remove the damaged section and install the matching replacement flooring. Floors are 4 years old. Some chips and scratches I'd like repaired/concealed where possible. I'd like a coating (probably polyurethane type?) that will better protect the floor and last a good while before needing recoating/refinishing again. Current finish appears to be fairly natural/matte or satin. I'd like to go for satin this time for a slightly better and modern look. There is a small wonky bit on edge of our timber decking - circled in the photo below. When you step on it, it is bouncy. Looking for a handyman to help me fix this!

The damaged area is approximately 40–50 cm in diameter and appears to be surface burn damage from a fire pit or hot object. Remove some existing boards to match up the lengths, remove some quad along the window wall to fit in boards and match up, install floor boards into and through small room 3m x 1.5m. Underlay and boards provided.

Hallway carpet needs to be ripped up and timber laid as dogs have ruined it during the colder/wet months. Area is approx 15m2. Timber and tools would need to be provided as nothing at house.

Protective floor pad moved from couch leg and adhesive from this stuck to the ground. When I went to lift couch to move it, it ripped this piece off in one clean chunk. The irony.
