Looking for someone experienced in timber/parquet floor sanding to sand two small areas of existing parquet flooring back to bare timber: Kitchen: 2.6 × 2.2m (approx. 5.7m²) Hallway/entrance: 1.35 × 2.5m (approx. 3.4m²) Total: approx. 9.1m² The floors currently have an older amber/yellow finish that I’d like completely sanded back. I’ve attached photos showing the current flooring as well as another section of the same parquet that has already been professionally sanded, to show the result I’m aiming for. Sanding only — no staining, sealing or coating required. I’ll apply the finish myself. Quote must include all labour, sanding equipment, abrasives and any other materials required. Please vacuum/remove all sanding dust afterwards and leave the floors clean, evenly sanded and ready for coating. Please only offer if you have experience sanding parquet/timber floors and can provide your own professional sanding equipment.

One of the horizontal beam of the deck has decayed so would like to get it replaced

I have several scratches/scuff marks on my timber-look flooring that I’d like professionally colour-matched and touched up. I’m looking for someone experienced with timber/laminate flooring scratch repairs and colour matching. I have tried a furniture repair kit but haven’t been happy with the colour match, so I’d prefer someone who can bring the appropriate products. Photos attached. I’d like the scratches blended into the existing flooring as naturally as possible.

Due to water proofing issues timber flooring for swollen and can out. It is not broken and need to put it back with flue. May need some cutting as due to swollen, it does not fit.

4 bedrooms plus the walk and associated walk ins and wadrobes, a walkway which has steps at either end (8 in total) and a living room. Area is covering 70m2 and would like it to be re stained

Looking for someone to stain three timber decks at a property in Hurstbridge. The decks have just been professionally cleaned with stripping chemicals, so they should be ready to stain. I'd like you to supply the stain as well as the labour — please include materials in your offer and tell me what product you plan to use. About the photos: two of the three decks are shown as they are now, straight after the clean. The rear deck photo is an old one — I'll swap it for a current shot next time I'm at the house. I've also attached a photo of the front decks after their last stain so you can see the colour and finish I'm after. I'm having trouble getting offical measurements, but I can head out to verify before we agree on the final price. My estimate is 60m2. In the mean time, I've picked an arbitrary budget. There's a key lock box at the property, so you can let yourself in and out — no need to coordinate with me on the day. The house will be empty. Looking for someone to clean, prepare and oil two small outdoor timber decks. Total area is approximately 8–10 m². Deck 1 – Lightwell: Approx. 1m x 2m. Clear and pull back climbing vines that are encroaching onto the decking boards and fence line. Clean and prepare the timber. Deck 2 – Courtyard: Approx. 1.8m x 3m. Clear surface dirt and prepare the timber. Cleaning/Prep: Wash and scrub both decks using an appropriate deck cleaner to remove dirt, mildew and grey weathering. Allow the timber to dry thoroughly before oiling. Oiling: Apply two coats of suitable decking oil, following the manufacturer's recommended drying time between coats. Materials: Please include all deck cleaner, decking oil and other consumable materials required for the job in your quote. Access: Both decks are ground-level with straightforward access. Water and power are available. The main priority is a clean, neat and well-prepared finish rather than extensive restoration of the timber.

Floors are 4 years old. Some chips and scratches I'd like repaired/concealed where possible. I'd like a coating (probably polyurethane type?) that will better protect the floor and last a good while before needing recoating/refinishing again. Current finish appears to be fairly natural/matte or satin. I'd like to go for satin this time for a slightly better and modern look. Area (in metres) Living: 6 x 4 Laundry area: 1.5 x 1.5 Hallway: 4.9 x 1.1 Entry to bedroom 1 x 1.6 I would do it myself but want someone with experience in floor surfacing suck as this to provide the right guidance and excellent products with a professional finish. There is a small wonky bit on edge of our timber decking - circled in the photo below. When you step on it, it is bouncy. Looking for a handyman to help me fix this!

I need an experienced handyman, carpenter, or deck restoration specialist to repair a circular burn mark on my timber deck (see photo). The damaged area is approximately 40–50 cm in diameter and appears to be surface burn damage from a fire pit or hot object. I’m looking for someone to assess the damage and restore the area so it blends in with the surrounding deck as closely as possible. Remove some existing boards to match up the lengths, remove some quad along the window wall to fit in boards and match up, install floor boards into and through small room 3m x 1.5m. Underlay and boards provided.

We sanded our floors and now have to sand back the railings in our stairs. We plan on painting them white. We are in Eltham
