I have issues with the flooring beneath our carpet in two rooms. In 1 room the flooring seems to have gaps between the MDF sheet that make up the floor, There are several places that when you step in the right way you feel the carpet lower and dip like a gap. In another room there a section where it seems that a corner of the MDF doesn't have any support and drops a lot making a lot of noise. The carpet needs to be lifted up and the repairs made to close the gaps by inserting new supports or extra wood to close the gap. The house is an old Double Brick Clinker Home. I've been told there is very limited space under those rooms but there is access from the back of the house to get under for someone to try. I would like my timber floor levelled its roughly 15 mm in depth. As our end goal is to have wooden flooring done and the floor specialists said that our floor is too inconsistent in depth. I want to explore the cheapest option which is material or putty from bunnings to spread over before we contact specialist. - Due date: Flexible

We have just purchased this home. The ex renter was a smoker and we need the walls cleaned, including cornices and skirtings and carpets shampooed, sanitises and deodorised. There are 4 rooms (average size 4x4) that have carpet and the hallway. Walls, cornices and skiritngs will be required to be cleaned in the entire house. We understand that the walls may not look great after the wash but the priority for us to have a clean and healthy home.
