I’m looking for an experienced pro to help with a straightforward flooring preparation and installation job for a 20m² room (lounge room). What needs to be done: 1. Carpet Removal: Rip up and clear away the remaining half of the existing carpet and underlay in the room (the other half is already removed). 2. Skirting Boards: Carefully remove existing skirting boards along 3 walls (approx. 12–15 linear metres total), and re-install/fix them back in place once the flooring is laid. (Note: The 4th side is an open walkthrough). 3. Floor & Tile Transition: Lay 20m² of click-system hybrid flooring over the existing flat concrete slab (the built-in acoustic underlay is already attached to the boards). On the open 4th side, supply and install a clean transition strip where the new hybrid floor meets the existing tiles. 4. Materials: I will supply the main hybrid floorboard boxes on-site. You will need to bring/supply the transition strip for the tiles and any standard adhesives or fixings required, as well as take away the ripped-up carpet waste if possible. Room Details: Size: Approx. 4.1m x 5m (rectangular, simple open layout with no complex nooks or weird angles). Flooring type: 5G click-lock system hybrid planks. Please include in your offer: Your total quoted price for this 20m² room (including carpet uplift/disposal and picking up the required transition strip), and scotia install v non scotia. Your availability over the next couple of weeks. Confirmation that you have experience handling carpet removal, re-fixing existing skirtings, and installing edge trims against tiles. Please note: This initial ad is for this single room. However, I will be rolling out roughly 120m² of flooring across the rest of the house incrementally over the next 6 months in smaller stage projects. If you do a great job here, I am very keen to establish an ongoing working relationship for the future phases.

Hello, I need the room carpet changed to floor board and there are 15 step stairs carpet changed to new as they stink and make the house stink. As well as new skirting in the house but that can be done separately or latter. Mainly after the carpet for now. Really short on money as tenants didn’t pay rent for 6 months had to go through VCAT and they left everything in the house with cat little and sh*t all over the place.
