Find an experienced flooring expert in Doreen

Looking for an experienced person to restore our outdoor timber decking, stairs and railings. The timber is quite weathered, with areas of faded and peeling existing coating, and needs to be brought back to a clean, refreshed finish. Work required: - Sand back existing decking to remove old coating and weathering. - Sand and restore timber stairs, handrails and balustrades. - Prepare all timber surfaces for refinishing. - Apply a suitable exterior decking oil or protective finish (ideally two coats, as recommended for the product). - Include all necessary equipment and materials in the quote. - Clean up and remove sanding dust and debris once completed. Important – Dogs and access: We have two large dogs, so the work may need to be completed on different days. For example: - Day 1: Complete one decking area while the dogs are secured on the other side of the fence. - Day 2 (2-3 days later): Complete the staircase, railings and remaining decking areas while the dogs are secured on the already complete side. Happy to discuss the best arrangement to allow sufficient drying and curing time before the dogs can access each area. Additional information: Photos attached showing the current condition of the timber and the areas requiring restoration. Please provide a quote outlining labour, materials, the proposed restoration process and estimated time required. Looking for someone experienced in timber deck restoration who can achieve a quality, long-lasting finish.
