Few floorboards are damaged and need to be replaced. Trim will also need to be replaced. I will supply floor boards.

Need job done as soon as possible. Looking for a handyperson to replace a single damaged hardwood floorboard located inside the cupboard under my stairs. And to fix a door to under my house that has come off its hinges. Details: Scope: Cut out the damaged section/board and fit a solid replacement. Put hinges back on door to under the house. Material: Tasker to supply a suitable piece of timber to fit the gap. Since it's inside a cupboard an exact color/stain match is not important.

I had engineered timber flooring (floating floors) put into my two-bedroom apartment about six years ago. In the summer it lays flat, but in winter when I'm running the heat it swells up and creates hill-like bumps in the floor in several places. I need to get some of the ends of the flooring trimmed so that it has enough space to expand in winter. Skirting boards will need to be taken up and put back down in the relevant areas. Flooring squeaks when walking over it. Builder has advised that this is way past the warranty period. I am unsure of cost to fix this. Please offer. Not looking to strip board. Injection of some sort into under the floorboard to stop squeaking would be preferable.

Hi there, I’ve come across your work on Airtasker and was hoping you might be able to help with a small floorboard repair job. We have three small areas of timber flooring that have been damaged over time, mainly from dog scratches and general wear and tear. I’ve attempted to sand back and restain the affected areas myself, but I’m not happy with the finish and would really like to have them repaired professionally and blended back into the existing floor as well as possible. I’m not looking to have the entire floor sanded or refinished, just these three localised areas. I have dropped a tiles box and one piece of floorboard has been damaged a little bit, went down for about 5-6mm. The piece is 83mm wide and 460cm length. I won’t mind filling it with wood filler nicely and then polish coat ontop.

Hello, I need the room carpet changed to floor board and there are 15 step stairs carpet changed to new as they stink and make the house stink. As well as new skirting in the house but that can be done separately or latter. Mainly after the carpet for now. Really short on money as tenants didn’t pay rent for 6 months had to go through VCAT and they left everything in the house with cat little and sh*t all over the place. Need help fixing the flooring near the fridge area, to get the flooring done properly so that it’s covering the full fridge area. Remove existing if necessary and relay so the flooring will flow properly and not like It’s patched up. Spare boards available for use.

Hi there, I am moving out of my apartment in St Kilda and need a small chip repaired on a floorboard so it passes my final rental inspection. The Problem: It’s a single deep gouge about the size of a fingernail (see attached photos). The dark core of the plank is exposed. The Goal: Fill and color-match the chip so it blends in seamlessly with the surrounding wood grain and matte finish. What you need to bring: You will need to supply your own color-matched repair materials (hard wax kit, laminate repair filler, or professional epoxy) to match the light oak/tan tone of the floorboards.
