Need decking boards sanded

Looking for someone to fix a small area of squeaky hardwood floorboards by securing/gluing the boards to the joists from underneath. Access is available via some floorboards that have already been lifted. Clearance underneath is quite limited, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in a tight space. It’s a relatively small area, not the whole house. Adhesive/glue and any other required materials can be supplied. Looking for someone experienced with timber flooring/carpentry who can identify the problem areas and secure the boards properly to eliminate the squeaks.

Work required: Repair/replace only the damaged area. We already have some spare matching floating boards available to use. Please inspect the damage and advise whether the boards can be repaired or need to be replaced. Ensure the replacement/repair is properly finished and matches the existing flooring as closely as possible.

Hi Fam, I posted this first some time back and got some good offers and I thank everyone who sent in an offer. Unfortunately me and my family got sick with Covid for 3 weeks so I had to take the task down. When I resubmitted it, shortly afterwards my water filter had a leak and I once again had to cancel the task to asses the damage to the boards. Again thank you to everyone who made an offer. Things are good now so I'm ready to go. Scope changed from last post: I've actually ripped out alot of the damaged boards myself and the underlay that got wet. About 4-6 sqm (most likely 5sqm but needs assessment) I have replacement boards and the two corners but not any underlay. So I just need someone to fit the boards that I have, I can buy and put down the underlay if that helps.

Two floorboards are damaged and need replaced. The replacement boards don't need to perfectly match (this is coming ahead of a later renovation), but a close stain would be great.

Hi there, I’ve come across your work on Airtasker and was hoping you might be able to help with a small floorboard repair job. We have three small areas of timber flooring that have been damaged over time, mainly from dog scratches and general wear and tear. I’ve attempted to sand back and restain the affected areas myself, but I’m not happy with the finish and would really like to have them repaired professionally and blended back into the existing floor as well as possible. I’m not looking to have the entire floor sanded or refinished, just these three localised areas. We’re currently renting the property and are vacating, so I’d ideally love to have the work completed this Monday, 17 August, if you have any availability. Approximately 6 location of warped boards need fixing to remove trip hazard.

I have dropped a tiles box and one piece of floorboard has been damaged a little bit, went down for about 5-6mm. The piece is 83mm wide and 460cm length. I won’t mind filling it with wood filler nicely and then polish coat ontop.

Hello, I need the room carpet changed to floor board and there are 15 step stairs carpet changed to new as they stink and make the house stink. As well as new skirting in the house but that can be done separately or latter. Mainly after the carpet for now. Really short on money as tenants didn’t pay rent for 6 months had to go through VCAT and they left everything in the house with cat little and sh*t all over the place.
