*experienced people only please* I have 30m2 of vinyl flooring in kitchen/dining that I need pulled up, then the floorboards underneath sanded & polished. It looks like there’s a layer of something under the vinyl but doesn’t seem to be glued down when we check around the heating vent. Floorboards may have been painted white in the past. Have only checked around heating vent.

Hi, I need help with a small timber floor repair. A few boards near the skirting have dark pet-stain marks (photos attached). I’m not sure if sanding alone will fix it or if the damaged boards need to be replaced.
