Prepare and level the subfloor using self-levelling compound where required. Reinstall the existing flooring properly. Ensure the finished floor is level, secure and neatly fitted. Requirements: Experience with flooring removal, reinstallation and subfloor levelling. Bring your own tools and equipment. We removed the kitchen and tiles from the kitchen in my mums house, wasn't expecting the floorboards to look as decent as they did. Refinishing of timber floors (downstairs) in a Reservoir townhouse. Approx 40m2. Refer floorplan I've highlighted in blue the extent. There are some gaps between boards that need to be filled in a few areas. Sand and refinish floors to new condition. Use hardy sealer / polyurethane coat. House has been recently painted and new carpets etc so dust suppression must be used.
