Tack weld and check alignment first, then complete the welds using a staggered sequence to avoid distortion Mark out, drill and bolt the post-side half to the hollow post using through-bolts with backing washers or plates, or rivnuts — not self-tapping screws alone, as the top hinge carries a tensile load Check the gate swings level, closes correctly and does not scrape Clean the welds and touch up all bare metal with cold galvanising primer and a matching topcoat Hinges: I will supply weld-on / bolt-on gate hinges rated to at least 150kg. Please tell me in your offer: What fixing method you would use on the hollow square post Whether you need me to purchase any specific bolts, rivnuts or backing plates so I can have them on site before you arrive I have a second gate of the same type. Restump and fix garden fence section that has toppled over so that it sits upright and the garden gate can close again

The side fence was replaced and the gate is no longer aligned, it cannot be closed properly, the gate or hopefully just the latch needs re-alignment. Should probably only take a few minutes for someone with the skills and tools.

Looking for a skilled and reliable person experienced with Colourbond fencing to help fix a fence installation that has unfortunately gone very wrong. The fence has not been staggered properly to follow the slope of the ground, there are large gaps underneath, and overall the finish is very untidy. We need someone capable of: • undoing/reworking sections of the existing install • properly stepping/staggering the panels to suit the slope • making the fence neat, secure, and professionally finished There is also: • a sliding driveway gate • a pedestrian gate • electrical wiring already laid for the sliding gate motor • WiFi/smart locks and gate hardware still needing installation onto the gates

The total boundary length is 39.3m. The garage wall is 6m and does not require fencing. The front section is approximately 10m long at 1.5m high. After the garage, there is about 28.3m of fencing required at 1.8m high. Therefore, the total fence length required is 10m + 28.3m. The land slopes approximately 2m from front to back. In the middle section, I require the fence to be raised by 400mm (approximately 2 timber sleepers high) for about 3m in length, as my side of the land is slightly higher.
