Hi, I have a light fixing/ switch that is no longer working and need an electrician to trouble shoot and fix it. The light fixing was recently installed and was initially working but has stopped after a painter was doing some painting/plastering. ?Unclear whether there is an issue with the wiring/ or the fixing itself.

Removing solid brick wall and need electrical items re-located/disconnected - Switchboard new location approx 200mm to the right - Light switch moved approx 1300mm to the right - power point moved approx 100mm to the left - 2 x power points disconnected & removed from kitchen - Electrical oven disconnected (hardwired) - Remove & Replace 6 x light fittings (New items have already been purchased)

Cable on table lamp needs replacing. Preferably with a dimmer.

I recently moved into a new house and the previous owner installed a large data rack and has ethernet, tv aerial, HDMI and other cables running from the data rack to different rooms throughout the house. Some appear linked to the inactive security system too. I need help deciphering what cables do what, and which ethernet cables are "live" as I haven't been able to connect my internet router to the data rack properly, hence have all internet running wirelessly only. Any experience with Magellan security systems would be very useful, as alot if the cabling appears to be for a security system and the security panels are for the Magellan "paradox" system.

A 1950’s st.and add lamp switch appears faulty; 1970’s ‘retro’ double standard lamp one light dos not go on; table lamp does not turn on.

Frame already exists but I have changed the oven. Now as you can see in the photos the oven is popping out. Make adjustments or changes to the wooden Frame to put the electric oven exactly within the frame box.
