I’m looking for a licensed electrician who can disconnect hardwired appliances and replace ceiling fans / lights ahead of stripout and painting. I am renovating my kitchen/house and need the following work completed: 1. Safely disconnect and isolate the power to an existing built-in electric oven/cooktop so it can be removed. The appliance is hardwired (not plugged into a power point). 2. Replace 4 × ceiling fans and 5 x ceiling lights with temporary fixtures (all will be replaced later with new lights/fans, current ones need to removed for painting). This is the first stage of the renovation. After the kitchen and laundry strip out is complete, I will also need a licensed electrician to return to connect the new oven and other electrical work, so there will be additional work available. Installation of 2 x new ceiling fans. ( Replacing 1 x old fan & 1 x old light) + installation of LED STRIPs under a benchtop. The 20mm track has been already cut and the LED lights and brackets will be supplied.

I’m looking for a licensed electrician to complete the following work in my bedroom: Remove my existing Minka-Aire F524-WHF 52" ceiling fan and its existing 4-speed wall controller. Install a new Claro Whisper Low Profile DC 52" ceiling fan at the existing ceiling location. Connect the new fan to the existing electrical supply where suitable, including the Claro receiver and required isolation switch. Replace the existing wall switch arrangement with an MFL Forge Heritage 3-Gang Complete Switch in Bronze (supplied by either myself or you). The Claro will use its supplied remote for speed control, so the existing fan speed controller will no longer be required. Complete all required testing and certification. The ceiling is flat and the existing fan is already installed at the desired location. I can provide photos of the existing fan, ceiling mounting point and switches, as well as the product specifications for the new fan and switches.

Licensed A-grade electrician needed to install 3 x FanForce Revo DC ceiling fans with LED light kits in a double-storey home in Footscray. Fans and light kits are already on site. I need labour plus supply of switch mechs/plates. These are DC fans with no wall control (remote and Wi-Fi app only). Every existing rotary fan speed controller/dimmer must be changed to a plain on/off isolation switch. 1. Living room (ground floor), 48" fan. Straight swap for an existing 4-blade AC fan on a short downrod, flat ceiling. 2. Study/office (ground floor), 36" fan. Replaces a decorative glass pendant on a rotary dimmer. I've seen older photos of this room show a fan installed here at some point, but please do not assume the existing fixing is fan-rated. There is no roof space above this ceiling (bedrooms above), so it can't be reached from above. The old pendant is being binned. 3. Bedroom (first floor), 36" fan. Replaces an existing 3-blade AC fan, flat ceiling, roof space above with manhole access. The wall controller is broken and the plate can't be screwed back on (see photo). Whatever this needs to be made good, please include it. Also: - Test each fan before leaving (speeds, reverse, light, dimming). - Flag anything needing rectification and quote it separately. - No rubbish removal needed, just stack it in one corner. - Vic A-grade licence/REC, please include your number in your offer, and a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion. - Bring your own ladder, tools and switch mechs/plates. Ceiling fan hanging from ceiling - need someone to assess and fix

I am looking to install a ceiling fan on the existing ceiling light.

Need someone to come and look At fixing a ceiling fam. It’s working but the speed won’t change.

Three jobs: 1. Install two pendant lights underneath a balcony into existing light sockets. 2. Swap the locations of two ceiling fans (move the quieter one into a bedroom). 3. Fix pendant in bedroom (water damage from upstairs bathroom about 6 mths ago). All jobs on site in Hawthorn. Ceiling fans and pendants supplied.

The fan has stopped working. Brand is Arlec but any similar fan will do. Is wired to run when the bathroom light is on

I have a ceiling fan with a glass light cover that I’m trying to remove, but it seems to be screwed on very tightly. I’ve tried carefully unscrewing it myself but don’t want to force it and risk breaking the glass or damaging the fitting. Looking for someone to come and safely loosen and remove the glass cover. It should hopefully be a very quick/simple job with the right technique or tools. No electrical work is required — just removing the stuck glass cover. Located in Richmond. I’m looking for an electrician to inspect and repair two ceiling lights, both of which are part of ceiling fan units. The fans themselves may still be working, but the light fittings need to be checked and fixed. I’m not sure whether the issue is with the globes, switches, or the remote controls so I’d like someone repair them safely. Please bring your own tools. Looking for a licensed electrician to remove an existing ceiling fan/light and install 4 LED downlights in a kids bedroom (approx 3.5m x 3.3m). Room has heating/cooling vents in the ceiling. Looking for supply and install of decent quality warm white downlights. Located in Delahey. Please include whether roof access is required and if patching the old fan location is included.

To replace existing white fans 3 in total with new black fans will need the plate at the wall disconnected and replaced with a plain plate. The new fans are remote control operated.
