I need a light switch installed to operate a porch light. There is no light switch currently - I think the feed may have been used for a different sensor light outside. So would probably need to run some new switch wire/cable down to the new switch. Older house/cabling so will need to come down the conduit. Photos show existing switch closest (all of which will need to be retained), and then the short journey outside to the porch. Please include price of all materials in quote.

Looking for a licensed electrician to supply and install one hard-wired photoelectric smoke alarm (with 10-year battery backup) in my home in Canberra.

I have two light switches that are broken - the first has completely fallen into the wall cavity, and the second keeps flicking back on after I turn it off. I also have an exhaust/extractor fan in a bathroom that needs replacing (it works totally fine but it is way too loud for the space!)

Dual dimmer light switch in dining room works intermittently and need fixing. Exhaust fan (behind IXL heat light)in bathroom has stopped working and needs fixing (note IXL heat light works fine). Two down lights in family room are not working and need fixing / replacing. Convert sensor light at front door to continuous light (ie disconnect from sensor).

Very simple job - should be done in about five minutes. Have a smoke alarm and need the mounting plate to be drilled into the ceiling. Requires an electric drill - I have a ladder I can provide.

Updated 21/07. Please update quote! Replace 11 old PowerPoints. Some will require just a new cover, others are mounted in brick walls and do not have a cover - new cover will need to be wired in existing hole. Tasker must have electrician certification. I will confirm how many need new covers vs wiring. At this stage, looking like 5 wiring into brick, 6 replacement covers on plasterboard. Please quote taking into account the split between rewiring and just a cover swap. I will provide the configuration of covers needed with the tasker i.e. double/single plug, light switches only etc.

Plant-a-box wall dismantled and removed. There is electrical parts running through which will need to switched off and blocked. We are then hoping to have two desks added (we will purchase) and have partitioning added and electrical work so there is power to the desks.
