Our side gate to the garden has seen better days. The wooden post attached to the brickwork has started to rot, and the gate itself is starting to pull out from it. Post is about 100mm x 75 mm x 1.6m that has a thinner piece of wood attached, that the gates screwed through to the sleeper. Post looks to be secured to the brickwork by 2 long bolts at the top, unsure how secured at the bottom. Hoping to replace the sleeper with some H4 treated pine + the thin bit to keep the gate width and keep the same gate fixtures.

Wood has swelled and gate latch needs to be forcibly shut. Looking for repair or replacement of latch so that the gate will shut easily and has the ability to be locked as needed. Any parts needed will be purchased by me.
