Last night, the Wi-Fi in my home was working in the living room, but it wasn’t working in the master bedroom. So I tried turning the modem/router off and on again, but after that, the Wi-Fi completely stopped working. This morning, I bought a brand-new modem/router. I connected one end of the cable to the modem/router’s DSL port, and the other end to the wall outlet labelled “IN.” After connecting, only the power light and the Wi-Fi light turned on. The modem/router appears completely normal — it shows up in the Wi-Fi list, and I can even log in to the TP-Link web setup page without any issues. So the problem is clearly that the modem/router is not receiving any DSL internet signal. I have already tested every wall socket in the house, but none of them provide a DSL signal. I also spent about 30 minutes on the phone with TPG technical support, but they were not able to fix the problem. Given this situation, the only solution is for a technician to physically visit my home and check whether the internal cable is damaged, loose, or worn out — and then repair or replace it as needed.

Need someone with IT/ nbn experience to fix an ongoing internet issues, wife works from home and constantly having issues connecting to the internet. Wifi works for the most part on the phone however when my wife connects with the work laptop it can never connect or incredibly slow.

The wi-fi button desapear after a computer reset. I know a bit about computers,and already tried all the óbvios solutions, check cmd if hardware is ok, open de pc and check if the wifi is correct plug, reset network, reinstall drivers.... But the wi-fi still missing. I can use the internet by a cable, but i don't want a internet cable over my wall because the wofi box is behind a wall.

My laptop internet speed is around 1.8 mbps yet every other device on the same wifi is 90 mbps, there is some issue with the laptop’s connection. It also won’t download the software update. It’s a Republic of Gamers laptop running windows 11.
