New PC not booting, need help

$80

Boronia VIC 3155, Australia

1st Aug 2026

Hi, I have just built a brand new PC and I need help getting it working. Looking for someone experienced with PC building, Intel systems, DDR5 memory, and BIOS troubleshooting. The PC powers on, but I cannot get any display output or enter BIOS. I need someone who can troubleshoot the issue and help fix it (including BIOS update if required). specifications: * Motherboard: MSI PRO B860M-A WIFI * CPU: Intel Ultra 5 250K Plus * AIO: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240 * RAM: V-Color Manta XSky RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 32GB (2x16GB) * GPU: Using IGPU * SSD: Lexar NM620 256GB PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 * PSU: Corsair RM650e (2025) Fully Modular Current issue: When pressing the power button, the PC does not display anything on the monitor. Originally, the startup sequence was: 1. CPU red debug light flashes briefly (~1 second) 2. DRAM yellow debug light turns on for around 3–4 seconds 3. PC stays on for around 30 seconds 4. CPU red light flashes again 5. PC restarts automatically This reboot cycle repeated around 5 times, then sometimes the PC would stay powered on: * RAM RGB on * Arctic AIO running * Case fans running * No debug LEDs staying lit * But monitor still shows “No Signal” Troubleshooting already attempted: * Cleared CMOS multiple times using motherboard Clear CMOS button * Tested both RAM sticks separately (one stick at a time) * Reseated RAM multiple times * Removed RAM completely to test motherboard DRAM detection * Reseated CPU * Tried different HDMI cables * Tried different monitors * Tried to enter BIOS using Delete key Additional info: * I do not have a wired keyboard, only a wireless keyboard with USB receiver * The mb does not appear to have a BIOS Flashback / Flash BIOS button, so I cannot update the BIOS myself without the system successfully POSTing. * I also tested the system with no RAM installed: * DRAM yellow debug light stays on continuously * No reboot loop occurs * No display output * No beep (no motherboard speaker connected)

Run Cat6 ethernet cable Run Cat6 ethernet cable

$350

Blackburn VIC, Australia

1st Aug 2026

Looking for an experienced data cabler to run a single Cat6 ethernet cable from my router to my home office. Scope: One run, approximately 25–30m, from router location to home office Route via ceiling cavity and/or under-house subfloor space (both accessible) Internal wall is plaster; external wall is brick veneer — happy for cable/points to be surface-mounted or chased in, installer's preference I don't have a fixed preference on exact point placement on the wall — corner of the room at each end is fine Two termination points required: one near the router, one in the office Materials required: Solid-core Cat6 cable (permanent installation grade — not stranded patch cable) Wall plate + keystone jack (punch-down terminated, not crimped RJ45) at each end T568B wiring standard at both ends Two short Cat6 patch leads included (router-to-wallplate and PC-to-wallplate) Requirements: Cable to be tested end-to-end after install (cable tester or certifier) — functional connectivity of device to hub. Please keep at least 300mm separation from any parallel mains power cabling in the roof/subfloor Any roof manhole access, insulation, or small wall penetrations to be left tidy/made good What I'd like in your offer: Fixed price (not hourly) including materials and labour Confirmation of cable brand/spec you'll be using Availability this/next week Happy to answer any questions about access before you quote.

Computer set up for work from home with access

$30

Mount Waverley VIC 3149, Australia

30th Jul 2026

My laptop is an HP with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. My monitor is an HP P244, which supports 1920 × 1080 @ 60 Hz. Connecting them is straightforward. Option 1: USB-C (Recommended) Many newer HP laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors support video output through USB-C. 1. Look for a USB-C port on your laptop (small oval-shaped port). 2. If it has a ⚡ (Thunderbolt) or DP (DisplayPort) symbol, it can usually drive an external monitor.

Fix Internet Setup with MoCA

$150

Brunswick West VIC 3055, Australia

19th Jul 2026

I've recently bought some MoCA adapters to try and get wired internet to one other room. My house has foxtel and some other coax ports all over the house but when I connect the MoCA adapter, they can't find each other (MoCA connection light stays off). I know the adapters are working as they can be connected directly with a coax cable and the light comes on. I believe the problem is to figure out whether the coax cabling/foxtel ports are actually connected throughout the house and how to connect them if they are not. I need someone who may be able to help with solve this issue and get the wiring/internet fixed in the other room. Thank you.

Excellent service and very friendly. Had a difficult task related to coax/moca and he knew exactly what things to try to get it working. Would highly recommend!
