Will send you a $100 if you are the first to know a good enough smarter solution that I can do myself quickly aside from the listed below or aside from using wifi / wifi nodes/bridges etc. Middle floor of 3 level apartment. See pictures including floor plan with router and only coaxial socket circled red. The two bedrooms have coaxial sockets but they don't support nbn speed. For low latency gaming, I currently I run a cable to the livingroom, over the kitchen floor...which is kind of ugly and is the problem to fix. Alternatively, I can run it along the ceiling bevels but I think that would be a little less ideal than running the cables completely out of sight through the walls / ceiling. (But if you can do that well, please offer). If you can figure out a way for those wall coax to work for nbn speed (hybrid fibre), that would be perfect but all they seem to do is provide super slow internet and dont have the nbn logo like the one that works properly in the living room. I think what I need is descreet holes in the bedroom walls / ceiling to run the cables to the living room. Luckily all the ceilings have bevelled edges (see photos) so I think it can look pretty neat. I dont have the tools to run a cable through a tight ceiling though and it cannot be crawled in (too small, but there is an opening in the ensuite bathroom. - see photo).

I have a pretty messy desk setup with all my cords and they’re constantly in the way, getting tangled and generally a pain. I’d really love to get a clean, functional and out-of-the-way cord situation going on, ideally with everything mounted/secured underneath the desk so there’s minimal visible cabling I’ve spent money in the past trying different cable management solutions, but they didn’t really work, were overly complicated and left me with a lot of stuff I didn’t end up needing. Would love some help figuring out what’s actually possible for this desk, what I’d need to buy (without buying a million unnecessary things 😅), and then getting it all installed. My desk also wobbles a bit, so I’d love to have that looked at while you’re here. Anddd bonus — I move this desk around quite a lot, so if it’s possible to add sturdy wheels/castors that lock securely into place without compromising the stability of the standing desk, I’d love to explore that too. I’ve included photos of the desk, underneath it, the assembly instructions/frame and my current shocking cable situation. Have posted this before but am actively ready to get it done now. Hi, I'm looking for an experienced network installer to set up Ethernet backhaul for my TP-Link Deco BE5000 mesh Wi-Fi 7 system. Job Details: Run a Cat 6 (or Cat 6A) Ethernet cable from my main Deco downstairs (next to the Optus modem/NBN box) to my Gaming Room Deco upstairs. Approximate cable length: 25–30 metres. This is a rental property, so NO drilling or permanent wall modifications. Please route the cable neatly along skirting boards and up the stairs using adhesive cable clips or cable raceway. Please supply all materials, including the Ethernet cable and cable management. Connect and test the cable to ensure the Deco system is using Ethernet backhaul and everything is working correctly before leaving.

NBN is going into a splitter box (wavlink) and that is going back into the modem router. Internet in the house works but the ethernet cord going into the wavlink does not connect wired internet to xbox. Even plugging directly into the wall doesn't work.
