We’ve just moved into the place and also noticed a lan cable running from the roof. Not sure as to where it leads but would love to set up own wifi in here if possible. We have a large brick and concrete home. Garage, then 2 floors. Everything was fine on a High Speed 100mbps set up and using Eero Mesh. Then I upgraded to 1000Mbps and it meant changes to hardware were needed. Have made those changes and paid someone to set it up, but it's just not right. Coverage of the house is less. I need a complete do-over. Assess the issue and configure the entire system a fresh from the ground up. Tidy up the server/route cabinet and set the house up so everything just works.
