I need to remove a broken Duravit toilet seat. The screws do not come out and spin endlessly. New toilet seat has been purchased and ready to install. It may need a new fixing plug / anchor given I’m assuming the existing plug will need replacing (given the old screw isn’t coming out). A replacement fixing plug didn’t come with the new seat (refer photos). Person completing the job to provide any required fixing plugs needed to attach (I don’t have these).

* My toilet seat and attached non-electric bidet have slipped completely out of alignment. * The mounting bolts have popped out of the porcelain toilet bowl holes and need to be reinserted, aligned properly, and securely tightened from underneath. * Please bring basic tools (screwdriver/wrench). You’ll require mounting bolts since the existing nuts underneath are missing, please let me know if you carry basic spares.

I need to fix T-valve on two toilet seats which I’m unable to do as I have wrist injury and the existing tap is too tightly screwed. This is to attach the bidet seat (which I will do) Someone would have to take care of two steps: 1. Unscrew existing tap (as circled in image) 2. Fix the T-valve in place of it (T-valve available)

I cannot unscrew the original fixings in the top of the toilet base. I think the screw must be turning in the spigot underneath and I can’t pull it out.

The toilet seat hinge is broken. The screw cannot be removed that holds the anchor in place.Either thread is damaged or rust has built up. Screw needs to be cut off or drilled out. I have new pin/hinge to replace

I have 2 household improvement tasks that I need somebody with a little bit more expertise and availability of handyman tools. Project one: I need to install a new toilet seat. I can’t get the current one off and it needs a bit more specialised tooling and know-how that I can provide. Second project: a six year-old combination lock on our front gate is worn out. It either needs to be cleaned to work again, or replaced. If replacement, I need help to select the right one then help installing it.
