These are interim repairs only, intended to protect the building until permanent remedial works commence in a few months. Primarily need to obvious holes in the membrane closed and walls capped. Scope of works * Patch and repair sections of the existing waterproof membrane where waterproofing has deteriorated. * Seal and waterproof parapet walls to prevent further water ingress. * Remove vegetation growing through the parapet wall. * Pressure clean affected areas before applying waterproofing products. I have an older aluminium sliding balcony door/window system in an apartment that is letting in quite a lot of outside air through gaps around the frames and sliding sections. The glass is intact and the doors/windows operate — I’m not looking to replace the system. I’d like someone experienced with older aluminium windows/doors to improve the draught sealing. Looking for someone to: * Inspect the existing sliding door/window system and identify the main air gaps. * Supply and install appropriate brush/pile/mohair weather seals around the sliding sections and panel overlaps. * Replace/add deteriorated or missing seals where appropriate. * Clean the tracks and sealing surfaces as required. * Adjust the sliding panels/rollers if necessary to improve how they close and seal. * Seal any genuine gaps in the fixed frame if appropriate. * Keep all drainage/weep holes and sliding tracks functioning correctly. Photos attached showing the existing aluminium tracks and gaps. The aim is simply to significantly reduce draughts and improve thermal efficiency while retaining the existing doors/windows. Looking for an experienced waterproofer. All materials and costs should be included in price. Parapet wall of end terrace needs to be cleaned, repaired, waterproofed and painted. It is an end terrace and the drop to the ground level is too high for ladder, so you will probably need a safety rope. After repair and waterproofing the new section needs to be painted (I have the paint). Length of wall / parapet is about 35M. See pics of the wall and closeups of some cracks.

The fabric has come undone on my 2008 vw golf and I need to replace it.

There are pigeons in the low roof cavity, probably also babies, eggs and nests. We have seen about six pigeons. The roof cavity is quite low so you can't climb in. Access from the roof was attempted but didn't work due to a cross beam and also the roof has just been watersealed. So we will access it via a 1m by 1m large hole in the ceiling on the top floor.
