Install 2 Roof Cowls on Terracotta Tiled Roof I am looking for an experienced roofer to install 2 x 150 mm roof cowls on my single-storey house in Dianella. The cowls will be supplied by me and are the 150 mm Tiled Roof Cowl Kits from Pure Ventilation. Scope of work: - Install 2 roof cowls to the terracotta tiled roof. - Ensure the roof remains fully weatherproof after installation. - Leave the site clean and remove any installation debris. Roof details: - 1970s single-storey house. - Terracotta tiled roof. - Roof pitch approximately 17.5°. - Roof space access available via manhole. - Lower roof space clearance than a typical pitched roof due to the shallow roof pitch. Ideally, I would like the work completed within the next 2–3 weeks. The cowls are being installed now so that ducting can be connected to bathroom exhaust fans at a later date. The home was built in 1990 and has an original tiled roof. The roof is showing age-related wear, with active leaks reported in some areas. There are also timber elements/wood finishes that have deteriorated and require repair or replacement as needed. Recommended works would include a roof inspection, leak rectification, replacement of any damaged tiles or related roofing components, and repair of affected timber finishes.

We’re upgrading our internet connection from fibre-to-the-node to fibre-to-the-premises. A technician attended to complete the installation but was unable to finish the job, as he couldn’t run the cable from the Telstra box at the front of the house through the roof cavity and down to the internal internet port. He mentioned that he’s not permitted to enter the roof cavity, but an electrician would be able to complete this part. He left the NBN cable here and advised me to contact an electrician. The main challenge is that the roof pitch is quite low, so roof tiles will need to be removed for access. There are also solar panels on the roof and ducted air conditioning in the roof cavity. I’ve attached images of the external box, the internal port location, and an aerial view of the house showing where the cable needs to be run through the roof. Im flexible with cost.
