The house is a rental so permanent plumbing isn’t an option, but I’d like the setup to look neat and professional (similar to a salon basin). The system will involve: • Connecting a portable basin to a water pump • Running clean water from a fresh water container • Pumping waste water into a separate waste container • Installing a small electric hot water unit so the water is warm • Ensuring everything is safe, tidy, and easy to use • Ideally hiding tubing/wiring so the setup looks clean and professional Power is available via standard wall outlets. I’m happy to purchase the parts needed beforehand (pump, heater, containers, hoses etc.), or you can recommend what to buy. My kitchen sink has been blocking whenever we wash plates and pots. We’ve had to use a plunger almost every time. I attempted to remove the blockage by inserting a metal object into the drain, but this has now caused water to leak under the sink. There is dripping underneath, and I may have damaged something inside the drain or pipe. Decent access under the house and there appears to be a pipe directly under where the fridge is, likely previous owners had theirs plumbed in. So couple of bends and plumbing in. Second job, to extend external water tap pipe about 1 meter and bring up of ground. Currently just sitting above ground. Hoping to get this done asap, and would also suit apprentice plumber if they were confident to complete the job. Have just set a rate so someone can look at the job or provide hourly rates. When flushing the toilet, the toilet sometimes fills up and slowly drains and does a “Glug, Glug” sound. The water in the bowl sometimes is very low and most times stays low and this is usually when the “Glug, Glug” sounds come. I have plunged it a few times. Seems to make it a bit better, but need someone to check. I have previously pulled roots from the plumbing away from the toilet. So more roots may have grown back and need clearing. Dave had great communication prior to the job and arrived promptly. He changed a few taps and shower heads for me and also diagnosed a faulty toilet bowl. Great advise and solid workmanship. Cleaned up after he had finished too. Would highly recommend and definitely will be using his services again.
