Description: I’m looking for an experienced leak detection or building maintenance professional to investigate a water seepage issue beneath a floating timber floor in a double-brick home. Issue: * Water has appeared under a section of the floating floor following heavy rain. * The affected area is confined to one section of the house. * There are no plumbing pipes running through this area, so it is unlikely to be a plumbing leak. * There are no doors or windows on the affected wall. * The home is built on a concrete slab. * I suspect rainwater may be entering from outside, possibly due to blocked roof drainage, poor stormwater drainage, or another external water ingress issue. What I need: * Inspect and identify the source of the water ingress. * Check external walls, roof drainage, gutters/downpipes, and surrounding ground levels if required. * Confirm the likely cause. * Recommend the most appropriate repair solution. * Please advise your experience with similar water ingress issues.

Pipe Access: The main Water Corp connection pipe runs along this side of the house. There is also a hot water connection nearby. Work Required: Supply and install a standard brass garden tap. This will likely involve a tee-off from the existing copper pipe located directly at the installation point or very close by. Mounting: The tap needs to be securely wall-mounted with a backing plate/flange. What I expect from the Tasker: Must be a licensed plumber. Provide all necessary materials (tap, piping, tee-junctions, and wall fixings). Ensure all penetrations through the brick are neat and properly sealed.
