​I am looking to book a licensed plumber for Thursday, 12th November at my property in Glen Iris, which I move into on the 10th November.. ​I am planning a full bathroom renovation in 6 months, so I am looking strictly for budget-friendly interim fixes to keep the bathroom functional and prevent further water damage. ​Scope of Work : ​Basin Replacement: ​Remove and dispose of an existing cracked, wall-hung ceramic basin. ​Install a replacement budget 3-tap-hole wall-hung basin (which I will supply, along with a matching waste plug). ​Reconnect the existing 3-piece tapware and waste P-trap. ​Interim Shower Leak Containment: ​Trace an active shower moisture issue noted in a recent inspection report (checking if it is an internal pipe/spindle issue versus a surface grout/silicone seal failure). ​Apply an interim seal (e.g., fresh sanitary silicone around perimeter joints or a penetrating tile/grout sealer) to stop surface water ingress into the wall cavity over the next 6 months.

Hi, Looking for an experienced licensed plumber/drainage contractor with a high-pressure jetter / drain cleaning equipment and CCTV inspection equipment. I have recently had a CCTV drainage report completed on a residential property in Glen Iris which identified: - Blockage in 90mm PVC agi pipe at front of property - Tree root intrusion/blockage in 100mm earthenware stormwater pipe at front of property (and mis-alignment - Partial blockage in sewer line along side boundary Scope of work: High-pressure jet clean agi / old stormwater drains at front of property High pressure sewer / clean at side of property boundary Clear root intrusion where possible. CCTV inspection after all cleaning - advise / quote on any repairs if necessary. Important: Earthenware pipe appears to be old and may be a shared stormwater line. Looking for a careful operator experienced with earthenware drains. Cleaning and inspection only at this stage. Not seeking repair quotes yet through this job, to be discussed on site after. Two separate jobs at the one property. 1. Toilet leaking from the base Water is pooling around the base of downstairs toilet (towels down at the moment). It was blocked (likely toilet paper) shortly before the leak started, so the two may be related. 2. Outside drain overflows in heavy rain Small square grate in the paved courtyard backs up during rain, leaving a large puddle across the pavers. What I need: Licensed plumber to attend, diagnose both issues, then repair or clear on the spot where possible. Please quote for the callout plus likely fix. Bathroom sink won’t drain all other sinks work fine. We have a 1930’s home and prior to us some of the pipe work under the house for 1 of the sinks has been modified. We have had a plumber out before with a camera and told us we have about 3 bends on our pipe instead of it being straight. We have tried the conventional unblocking but need someone to quote to get under the house remove the current pipe and replace with a correct installation so it flows normal like the rest of the house. Please price cost of material and complete job.

Fit-off 2 basins on exposed brick wall (Cold water only) Budget:$350 - $400. Need a plumber/handyman to install two washbasins on an exposed red brick wall. NO tiling required. Tasks include: vanity Basin: Connect cold water line only (split/tap from existing line via PEX) and connect the waste pipe straight into the main drain located directly underneath the vanity. (Note: Cabinet will be mounted on the wall by someone else).Wall-hung Basin: Drill/bolt the small basin onto the brick wall, connect cold water only, and connect the bottle trap/waste. No hot water connection needed for either basin. Existing drainage is already in place right below the vanity. Must bring your own standard PEX fittings, cold-water isolation valves, and PVC traps/wastes. Looking for someone to complete this next week. Thanks!

Need licensed plumber or leak detection specialist for apartment bathroom moisture assessment in Glen Iris. Recently purchased older apartment. Building inspection identified elevated moisture readings and possible active leak condition around shower wall area. Looking for: - leak/moisture assessment, wall water ingress? - identify likely cause (grout/silicone vs plumbing vs waterproofing), - moisture testing, - advice on whether resealing/regrouting likely sufficient, - written summary preferred. NOT looking for full bathroom renovation quote at this stage. Also wanting advice/estimate on: - relocating or extending vanity plumbing slightly to adjacent wall area for a vanity/tap layout change, - whether this may be achievable with minimal rerouting/wall damage, - bathtub condition and whether replacement is necessary or if resurfacing/refinishing is a reasonable option, - approximate costs for both options. Looking specifically for: - licensed plumber, - experience with apartment bathrooms and leak diagnostics, - someone practical and repair-focused rather than immediately recommending full renovation. Need to connect dishwasher inlet/outlet connections. Also add a water line out from the cupboard to the fridge, can just run it along the skirting. We are up a flight of stairs but items are already in place.

Issue: Solar tank and gas booster both seem to be operating okay. Suspect faulty tempering valve with orange cap causing intermittent lukewarm/cold water. Gas Booster is T26 eternity and solar tank is chromagen 300 Litre tank. Both were installed about 10 years ago and first time having this issue.

Blocked toilet overflowing outside outlet. The photo is after cleaning up the mess but it is starting to over flow again.

My hot water service pilot light has been blown out. I need someone to come and relight it for me. The unit is a freestanding unit, attached to the wall in my back garden, accessible via a concrete path.

Please read carefully- We have had a wonderful Airtasker come out and try unclog the slow draining sink. He had about 5 hand augers and still hasn’t been able to clear it. As such I think we will need a camera and electric eel to resolve this blockage. It is isolated to the bathroom basin all other drains are working fine, house is 1950’s so not sure of the piping. Once water is in the sink it just takes time to slow drain out. I have photos with the pvc pipe taken out and this is all clear and no blockages so it’s deeper into the wall and beyond

Washing Machine Installation & Hose Replacement I need a tradie to supply and fit a new inlet/outlet hose for my washing machine , the existing hose is too short. Once the new hose is in place, I need the washing machine properly connected and installed. Happy to discuss the specifics before the job.
