Looking for a plumber to repair or replace a bathroom basin mixer tap. The tap’s internal cartridge and handle mechanism have broken, and the handle can no longer operate the tap properly. I’ve removed the damaged cartridge (pictured). Ideally, I’d like someone to assess whether the cartridge and handle mechanism can be replaced. If repair isn’t practical or cost-effective, I’m happy to replace the entire tap. Scope of work: * Inspect the existing tap and damaged cartridge. * Repair the mechanism if suitable replacement parts are available. * Otherwise, remove and install a new basin mixer tap. * Check for leaks and confirm everything works correctly. Top floor shower is leaking through the wooden ceiling underneath when shower is on - leak is in one place, a couple of drops every ten seconds or so only when shower is on.

The handheld shower in our apartment bathroom is spraying water out of the joint where the hose connects to the handset, not just from the shower head. It's likely a split hose or a worn washer/seal. Shower leak – diagnose, reseal/waterproof & repair rotted timber underneath I have a leaking shower that needs to be properly diagnosed and repaired. The house is on stumps and there is easy access underneath the shower. From underneath I can see water dripping around/from the shower waste/pipe area when the shower is being used. There is also visible water damage and some rotting/deteriorated timber underneath the shower (photos attached). I’m looking for someone experienced with leaking showers/bathroom repairs who can: Identify exactly where the water is coming from – e.g. shower waste/pipe connection, waterproofing, grout, silicone/seals or another source. Repair the actual source of the leak rather than just applying silicone as a temporary fix. Reseal/regrout the shower where required and advise if any waterproofing work is needed. Inspect the damaged timber/subfloor underneath the shower. Repair or replace the affected rotted timber where required and make sure the shower/subfloor remains structurally sound. Check the waste/pipework underneath and repair any leaking connection if that is contributing to the problem. Access underneath the house is available and the affected area is directly accessible, which should make inspection easier. I’ve attached photos of the shower and the area underneath showing the water damage. Need help fixing our shower leak. It appears like the connections behind the shower have a leak. If you remove the green door in the picture, you should be able to access the gap behind the shower tiles. I've also attached images of the shower fixture.

Looking for a licensed plumber to inspect and repair a leaking shower mixer, and check a second shower for a possible similar issue. Spare bathroom: Water is visibly seeping/dripping from underneath the mixer back plate while the shower is completely turned off. This is the main concern and is shown in the attached photos. This shower is very rarely used, so the water is not residual from shower use. Ensuite: I have also noticed some moisture around/underneath the mixer back plate. This shower is regularly used, so I’m unsure whether this is residual water or whether the second mixer may also have a leak. I’d like this checked at the same time. I’d like the source of the leak identified and repaired to prevent potential water damage behind the wall. Ideally looking to repair the existing mixer/s where possible rather than replace unnecessarily. Please advise in your offer whether your price covers inspection/diagnosis only or includes standard repair labour. Hi, I need help fixing a running toilet in my bathroom. The water in the cistern keeps rising past the normal level and overflowing into the overflow pipe, causing water to constantly run into the bowl. When the water fills up, the fill valve assembly also tends to lift or pop slightly out of its base position. I've tried adjusting, but it needs a proper repair or a replacement fill valve to stop the continuous leak.
