Old Breezair Evaporative Cooling system likely needs a new fan run capacitor. Pump works, pads get wet but I don't think the fan runs. Hence, there is no air coming out of the ducts. Air doesn't flow on both the “cool” and “vent” option. Repair of the capacitor (if confirmed at inspection) as well as a maintenance service of the system (replace pads if required, do all the necessary checks, inspections, clean) is requested. Roof is a little steep and terracotta tiles. Can provide further details if required as I took photos and a video while I was on the roof checking to see what the issue was. Please provide a quote.

We have just purchased a unit in Werribee that is part of a duplex. Split in half by an internal brick wall. It is an older building so I believe some steps may have been skipped when they did the plumbing and insulation. The issue we have is every time the neighbour uses the water we can hear it in every room of the house. I assume it is the same for them on their side when we are using ours. It sounds as if its coming from inside of the roof and through the split system units. My understanding was that the water pipes were not shared because we don't share water bills. We require someone to come inspect the property and help us understand what is happening and look at possible solutions if there are any.

Hi, I’m in Montmorency and need a bathroom maintenance job done by a handyman/allrounder. The exhaust fan works and is good quality, but ventilation is poor. It is ducted outside (not into the roof). I need someone to check airflow, ducting condition, bends and the external vent to improve extraction (no fan replacement). There is mould around the fan and it barely extracts at all. I also need old silicone removed and replaced around the bath and part around the toilet, plus mould clean-up. The bathroom was renovated about 5 years ago. Can you quote or advise your hourly rate and availability?
