Possibly some other works available if job is accepted like boxing out/screens or covers to hide utility equipment Looking for a quote for labour and materials or possibly labour only and I can purchase materials. Probably looking at using pre oiled Merbau Decking boards as doors and facade, either 140/90x19 with some treated pine as frames and stud work. But happy to hear other options as well. I am looking for a reliable handyman/carpenter to modify an existing timber enclosure around an outdoor water meter and install a suitable cover with an access hatch. Please refer to the attached photo for the existing setup. Work required: 1. Raise the existing enclosure: Increase the height of the existing timber enclosure by at least 150mm to provide sufficient clearance and headroom for the water meter and taps. 2. Construct and install a hatch: Supply and fit a hinged access hatch measuring approximately 1200mm x 600mm to cover the enclosure. The hatch must be secure, sturdy and easy to open when access to the water meter is required. 3. Attach identification signage: A sign will be supplied to indicate that the water meter is there. This must be securely fixed to the hatch in a clearly visible and conspicuous position. Materials and equipment: I will supply the timber/wood required for the job and the identification sign. The Tasker is to supply all necessary tools and equipment, along with additional hardware and fixings required to complete the work, including screws/nails, hinges, a lift handle and any other necessary fittings. Preferred completion dates: 1. Sunday, 1 November 2026 (preferred), OR 2. Tuesday, 3 November 2026. Additional requirements: Workmanship must be neat, sturdy and weather-suitable for an outdoor installation. The hatch must allow convenient access to the water meter and taps without needing to dismantle the cover. The finished enclosure should be secure and leave adequate clearance around all plumbing fixtures. Please review the attached photo before making an offer.

Looking to get help with replacing some old cupboard doors and drawers.

It may be that it is off the chain or something else is wrong. I can provide a video if nec. It tries to open, runs but does not lift the door for about 15 seconds and then sounds like it runs in the opposite direction for the same amount of time. The garage door never lifts.
