We do have very small car single garage and the current door is rusted & not functioning. Manually locked garage door design is ok if it does not allow automated garage door, mainly we like to protect the garage from all weather & rain along with safety/privacy perspective. The Garage door frame also need to be replaced as the timber is rotten with rain water. Weather protection (mainly from rain water) design/install is preferred.
