Find a professional gate installation in Melbourne

I have a fence pannel that is aprox 1900 I need it to be modified to fit into a 1830 gap with a 900 gate ( I have the gate kit ) and small pannel 930. There will have to be 2 posts installed for this as well. I have some posts that may be suitable

Tried but unable to connect two systems - merlin remote with censys gate system. Merlin works ok with garage door. Pair or replace remote

Currently, there are two hinges on each side of the gate, but they’ve broken and pulled out of the fence posts. We need you to bring 4 (2 on each side) heavy-duty brackets and install them so that each bracket connects the gate to the fence posts—one side fixed to the wooden gate frame and the other to the fence post. The gate will need at least four brackets to hold it in place. It doesn’t need to be perfect—just secure enough for the gate to open and close. You’ll also need a saw or something sharp to cut the rope that’s currently holding it up.

Make adjustments to our side gate to make it aligned, latch correctly and install upper timber piece correctly.

Picket fence gate has ‘slipped’ so it now hangs lower than the latch point. It’s not just the hinges but the structure of the gate that is in need of repair. The return spring to be replaced There are also 2 fence post finials that are loose to be repaired.

extend gate deadbolt so it properly engages the strike plate I need a handyman to fix the locking mechanism on my gate. The deadbolt (sliding bolt) from the lock does not extend far enough to properly reach and engage the strike plate/receiver on the frame. Scope of work: Inspect the existing surface-mounted gate deadbolt. Replace the bolt mechanism or install a longer throw deadbolt so the bolt extends far enough to fully engage the strike plate. Ensure the lock aligns correctly with the receiver/keeper and operates smoothly. Adjust or replace the strike plate if needed to ensure a secure lock. The goal is for the deadbolt to extend further across the gap and securely latch into the receiver on the opposite side.

Gate post has come away from its mooring into brick, need to redrill mooring points into brick and re-secure

Wooden front gate catches on the closing post in cooler or wet weather. I’m open on the method to fix it. Even shaving off some of the post if that’s the easiest way (but still looks good).

Repair back gate, as shown in photos. The price is for someone to undertake enough repairs so that the back gate can be bolted shut and locked. There are two swinging gates at the back of our property that open up onto a laneway. One of the gates has come off its hinges and no longer lines up with the other gate which still swings fine. I need someone to repair the gate that has come off its hinges by welding back on two (or more) brand-new hinges. Supplying of hinges and all other materials are to be by the contractor and included in the price. Back gate is rather heavy so might take two people to repair, depending on how skilled you are.

My external metal gate is no longer aligning properly with the latch. The gate appears to sit too far away from the strike plate/lock, so it won’t close or stay secured. It may have sagged slightly or the hinges/lock position may need adjustment. Looking for someone to realign the gate and ensure it closes and latches securely.
