Gate fell off its hinges - we require new hinges and the gate to be reattached and functional

We will like to an electrified aluminium sliding gate that moves left. Please provide quotes for two options: Option 1 to be one sliding gate (one panel). Option 2 to be a telescopic sliding gate (with two panels). As you can see in the pictures we will need to move the mail box to create some space. And for Option 1 we will need to cut through 80 cm of the garden. With Option 2 (telescopic) we have enough space and we will not need to cut through the garden. We dont mind the walking gate not being available whilst the car gate is open. The current gate measurement is 290 cm wide. Is it possible to use the two panels we have if we go with Option 2 (telescopic)? We have heritage overlay and we need to keep the Victorian style gates

I need an experienced tradesperson to investigate and fix a water leak in the upstairs bedroom. When it rains heavily, water appears to seep through or around the window area causing bubbling and paint damage to the wall under the window ledge (see photos). At this stage, I’m not sure whether the leak is coming from: - The external wall/window frame, or - The internal panelling/plaster beneath the window ledge. Job requirements: 1. Inspect the area to identify the exact source of the leak. 2. Provide advice on whether it’s an external waterproofing, flashing, or internal issue. 3. Complete the repair, which may include sealing, repainting, or replacing any damaged materials. 4. Ensure the issue is resolved and watertight. Job must be completed when I WFH on Tuesday and Fridays during the week.

Please help us 2x install baby gates. Will need to bring a level and drills that can work on brick and wood. Some parts are already drilled into the wall, but we ran into difficulties. May also need to supply 8 flat head screws.

Need a rail attached to the brick wall as currently gate latch is when windy plus would like to be able to padlock the gate

I will like to convert the car park gate to be bifolding. At the moment it has 2 doors (panels) and opens inwards. When the car goes in, then the doors do not close. Converting the doors to be bifolding, will give enough space for the gates to close. Attached picture show the metal made gate open. Not planning to put electric engines now but if you can do it we are willing to increase the budget

Weld a piece of steel 2in x 1in - relatively thick, onto the back of our front pedestrian gate (where my finger is in the photo) to stop the gate pushing through and past the lock. B.Y.O piece of steel if possible please

Clarification: Per photos there are existing capping for teh back deck pergola in good condition that should be refixed. And no need for any flashing between house and back deck pergola as the gutter runs between them, as also can be seen in some photos. Added the drive way pergola, same sheeting, 1 row 14 m2, back deck is 10 rows 41 m2, Increased budget by same ratio to $1600 , even though drive way is easier to access and simpler with a longer spans. Will use 4.2 m sheets cut into 4 for back deck, 4.8 m sheets cut into 2 for drive way. Added photos and updated the google calc sheet. Maybe 4.2m sheets is smarter and provides little better coverage, 1.05 m each. The budget price inow excludes supplying the sheets, $1,108.20 if I buy it from Bunnings. Please give me breakdown of material, and hours plus hourly rate you budget for in your quote.

The mechanism on these automated gates no longer works. Needs to be fixed or replaced.

Build timber paling fence

The driveway has 2 gates that are opened by a remote control, but currently are not opening, despite the remote working fine.

We need a simple screen (up to 1m high) for this walk away that can be easily moved

Install a vintage gate onto the existing lattice fence. All the gate parts are available but may need extra wood panels to ensure a good fit. Fix shed door with something to enable padlock to be used to secure the door.

approx 10.2 mtrs , standard fencing with 2 base boards, reattached existing gate with new lock. also replace front gate post and reattached gate with new lock. as it is a small job I would like finished in one day

Hi there, the top hinge on the left hand side of my double gates has snapped so needs replacing. You will need a welder, a replacement hinge and experience in doing this task before.

Build a 6-7 meter treated pine fence to screen off the end of a driveway to create a storage area. There is a joining fences to bolt / connect the section to. The ground is level and cleared. I also need a standard timber gate to match the same height (see pic), this will be connected to the brick wall. Height: 1800 Length: 6-7 meters (includes gate). Style to match existing fence, pls see photo. The base will need to bolt into Bitumen (see pic). There is a driveway with plenty of room to reverse a truck / van to unload timber and tools (carport height 2m)
