I’m looking for an experienced pro to help with a straightforward flooring preparation and installation job for a 20m² room (lounge room). What needs to be done: 1. Carpet Removal: Rip up and clear away the remaining half of the existing carpet and underlay in the room (the other half is already removed). 2. Skirting Boards: Carefully remove existing skirting boards along 3 walls (approx. 12–15 linear metres total), and re-install/fix them back in place once the flooring is laid. (Note: The 4th side is an open walkthrough). 3. Floor & Tile Transition: Lay 20m² of click-system hybrid flooring over the existing flat concrete slab (the built-in acoustic underlay is already attached to the boards). On the open 4th side, supply and install a clean transition strip where the new hybrid floor meets the existing tiles. 4. Materials: I will supply the main hybrid floorboard boxes on-site. You will need to bring/supply the transition strip for the tiles and any standard adhesives or fixings required, as well as take away the ripped-up carpet waste if possible. Room Details: Size: Approx. 4.1m x 5m (rectangular, simple open layout with no complex nooks or weird angles). Flooring type: 5G click-lock system hybrid planks. We removed the kitchen and tiles from the kitchen in my mums house, wasn't expecting the floorboards to look as decent as they did. Was hoping to get someone to sand and polish the boards in there to a similar colour to the rest of the house (rest of floorboards photos added for comparison). I know they won't match, but something close-ish would be great. Refinishing of timber floors (downstairs) in a Reservoir townhouse. Approx 40m2. Refer floorplan I've highlighted in blue the extent. There are some gaps between boards that need to be filled in a few areas. Sand and refinish floors to new condition. Use hardy sealer / polyurethane coat. House has been recently painted and new carpets etc so dust suppression must be used.

Bamboo flooring has a couple of marks that need refinishing 1. heat from the fridge has led to a scorch mark (see image) 2. water marks in other areas from pot plants 3. scratched floor from a desk chair
