I need approx. 32 m2 hardwood flooring installed in a living room and hallway. It includes 5 steps but the stair nosings have been made already. It will be laid over an existing floating floor which as been prepped to remove all protruding nails and obvious uneven levels. There’s no furniture and no skirtings in the rooms. It will need to be done over a weekend. The timber (pre finished blackbutt) is on site already

I need someone to put down underlay and join carpet to existing carpet for underneath a desk. Carpenter is ripping up existing bench seat and building a desk next week on the 5-6th of March. There is no carpet underneath, but I do have enough of the same carpet for the space. I would prefer someone to be able to do it next Friday 7th of March or early following week Monday-Tuesday, 10-11th.

To replace a small square of carpet in our living room in the corner of the room. We have a spare roll of carpet that can be used for the repair.

We are replacing the old carpet and underlay in our apartment. Carpets are already somewhat ripped up in some of the rooms. Need to remove in 3 bedrooms including wardrobes, a lounge area and a small hallway. The one complexity is that the wardrobes have been installed over the carpet. So we are going to leave the old carpet and underlay that is underneath the edges of the wardrobes and just remove / replace what’s visible. So basically you’ll need to cut around all the edges inside and outside of the wardrobe. Need someone to: - Take up the old carpet and underlay - Vacuum the subfloor (mop if particular sticky/gross) - Take carpet and underlay and neatly place in garage car spot. Remove and regrout/seal shower floor tiles - Due date: Flexible

There is a section of my floor that has the lino cut out from it. I want it repaired/replaced. I have spare lino. - Due date: Flexible

Lay supplied 5mm vinyl plank flooring for approx 30m2 over existing floor. - Planks will be supplied - Any levelling work and materials should be proposed and will be paid on receipt. - Must be able to deal with the interface between current floorboards and vinyl floor at 2 doorways. Existing trim ideally used. - Scotias for existing floating floor as shown in the photos will need to be removed and any small gaps dealt with that are necessary to lay the new planks - Two areas have level changes. One minor ‘step’ up: 1. to a laundry where there is also a floor drain to manage 2. Between the tiles and existing floating floor at a doorway between rooms. Less than 1cm. Should be able to be ramped. - Finally, step at the front door has tiles lifting. These need to be removed and a suitable base created before taking the planks out to this step, and then turning down the riser, with a suitable edge. Please see photos. PLEASE NOTE: this is a ‘fix it’ job, not for a forever home. We are aware the best approach is to remove all existing flooring. We won’t be doing that so please don’t propose, we just need a simple quick solution for presentation that isn’t DIY but isn’t perfection. - Due date: Flexible

Install approx 25m of skirting. Existing skirting to be removed. All skirting is on single level (ground floor) of house. Install VJ panelling on single wall (approx 2.65m wide x 2.4m high). Skirting boards (pre-primed pine) and panelling are purchased and will be on-site. No painting required. Skirting and panelling can be cut in courtyard. There are a number of mitred edges to be cut. Ideally the job will be completed between Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st August. Timeline can be flexible, but unlikely to be able to start before Thursday 18th August due to other works completing before. - Due date: Before Monday, 22 August 2022

I have a small unit, a very small kitchen and I’ve never had a proper skirting board that is fitted and stays and is strong. It’s L-shaped 160 cm x 155cm, maybe even a bit shorter . If you can help me with this I would be very pleased. I would prefer black or wood ,not white thanks . - Due date: Flexible
