We’re looking for someone experienced in deck restoration to restore our front and rear timber decks at our home in Manly Vale. Total deck area: Approximately 22 m² across two decks, including the front entry stairs. The decks were last restored around 18 months ago and are generally in good condition, but are due for a proper refresh. Scope of works: * Chemical clean of both decks * High-pressure wash * Punch down any raised nails where required * Coarse and fine sanding * Apply 3 coats of Intergrain UltraDeck water-based decking finish * Sand the front entry stairs and apply 3 coats of the same finish * Repair a few small areas of timber rot on the front steps before finishing. Materials We will supply: * Timber cleaner * Intergrain UltraDeck water-based decking finish You will need to supply: * Everything else - All equipment and consumables, including pressure washer, sanders, sanding discs/paper, brushes/applicators, rollers, drop sheets and any other tools required to complete the job to a high standard. Deck Rejuvenation. We have a deck that was built six years ago and remains structurally sound. We last had the decks rejuvenated (stripped, cleaned, sanded, and re-oiled) in 2024. We are looking to have this process done again. We are flexible on time and can commence whenever it works. Timber – Merbau Measurements – Rectangle of approx. 6m x 10m + Extension of approx. 1m x 9m I have attached photos from the last rejuvenation in 2024, and its current state in 2026. In 2024, we had two (2) coats a week apart, and this left a heavy coat that became really hot and reflective in summer. The deck faces North. We are looking for a finish like the photos of 2024 (1-4) attached. These were taken after the first day, with one coat, which gave it a more natural look. OIL – We do want you to use what we had last time, ‘Aqualis H2 Oil’ (Matt), in ‘Trans Black’, OR, Haymes. Aqulis & Haymes are both Australian companies, and we’ve preferred this over other oils we have used in the past. (This said, we are open-minded to an Oil product if you have a track record with this and can provide examples of this. We will look to you to supply the Oil). You should be experienced in Deck Rejuvenation (Stripping, Cleaning, Sanding, Application), with experience you can refer to and demonstrate skill in. If you are interested in this job, I am open to your offers. I have nominated $1,500 as a starting point.

Prep and restaining of outdoor decking and steps. Some sanding already completed. Cleaning and prep products purchased.

Cut and install skirting boards and side panels in kitchen. We have all the skirting and boards. Need boards cut to the appropriate height and installed. We do not have tools to do this so would need to have your own.
