Handyman / Carpenter Needed – Deck Board & Floorboard Repairs (Allambie Heights) We’re looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to complete a few small repairs at our property in Allambie Heights. Jobs required: 1. Outdoor deck: Remove and replace one rotted timber deck board. No sanding or varnishing required, as we’re having the entire deck refinished separately. 2. Indoor flooring: Remove and replace two loose floorboards before new carpet is installed. We’re looking for someone who can supply the necessary materials and complete the repairs neatly and professionally before the 20th October. The job: * Sand the entire deck thoroughly and evenly * Remove the existing coating/weathered surface * Prepare and clean the deck ready for coating * Apply the lacquer/sealer supplied by me * Apply 2 coats as required by the product * Clean up all sanding dust and rubbish afterwards There are no loose nails or screws requiring repair. I will supply the lacquer/materials. You will need to bring your own sanding equipment and tools. Ideally looking for someone who can complete this within one day and has experience sanding timber decks. Please send photos of previous deck sanding/restoration work.

Need some vinyl tiles removed from your our kitchen, approx 20 m2. They’ve likely been there since the 1960’s and glued down very well. Trying to retain and restore the timber floor boards underneath.

We are looking for someone to use a commercial grade sander to sand back our Merbau deck to its original colour. It currently has a dark red/brown colour on it that we would like sanded off. We would like it to go back to the original Merbau colour, and to then be finished with a protective clear oil. The deck is undercover and is levelled and in fantastic condition. The nails are also in excellent condition and not sticking up. We are also looking for someone who may be able to build three long Merbau steps to lead from the deck to the grass. Roughly 4.65m each step. To be done soon. Located in Allambie Heights. Easy access
