I need help to inspect my home’s electrical system. My recent electricity bills have been unusually high despite using new, energy-efficient appliances, and I’d like to identify any potential issues causing the excessive consumption.

Three downlights + one motion sensor + switch with dimmer to be installed in eaves - wiring already installed but connection to main is required. All materials supplied. Hole 🕳️ drilling required for the eaves.

I was drilling holes around a light fixture in our bedroom to install a ceiling fan I didn’t realise there was a junction inside the hole with conduit going 4 ways for power feed to lighting around in the apartment. I drilled through the conduit and shorted the lighting breaker. I disconnected the wire I drilled through it seems like I’ve damaged the breaker. I can’t see any fuses just breakers but this breaker supposedly has overload protection not sure if it needs to be replaced once it’s been shorted.
