The electrical outlet in the laundry pushes out anything plugged into it - not sure exactly what's wrong so hoping for someone to assess/replace as needed.

There is an existing double power point approximately a few metres away near the marble shelf, which I’d like the new outlet to potentially be supplied from. The job: * Install 1 x standard double GPO underneath the existing picture frame (see photo). * Ideally run the cable inside the plasterboard wall cavity from the existing power point. * I want no visible cabling or plaster chasing between the two points. * Only the necessary cut-out for the new GPO. * Please assess whether the existing GPO/circuit is suitable for the additional outlet. * Supply and install the GPO. * Test and leave the installation compliant and tidy. * Licensed electrician only – Victorian electrical regulations apply. We’re looking for a licensed and experienced electrician to complete several electrical installations in our apartment. The preferred date is Thursday 5 February, ideally in the afternoon. The apartment is in Balaclava and has easy access with no parking issues. The scope of works includes installing a 1.8m ceiling-hung pendant light, centred over the kitchen island. There is an existing ceiling light point located nearby. This work also includes installing an IP44 dimmer switch. There are four wall sconces to be replaced on a like-for-like basis. All new fittings will be supplied. There are also two bedroom overhead ceiling lights to be replaced. These are straight swaps with no new wiring required. In addition, the smoke alarm needs to be re-secured to the ceiling. It is already wired and functioning; it just needs to be screwed back into place, which should only take a minute. All light fittings and accessories will be supplied. No new circuits are required. The apartment is vacant and easy to work in, and we’re looking for someone efficient and tidy. The electrician must be licensed and insured, have their own tools, be able to issue compliance where required, and be available on 5 February (afternoon preferred).
